  • It gives you as much of a fighting chance to sell as placement on one of the big property sites (rightmove, findaproperty) would generally afford you. I think it's that simple - I'm not entirely sure what regional differences have to do with anything. It all comes down to whether you believe in using the internet or not - which is more of a generational thing. Perhaps it's insiginificant, but the vast majority of the viewings I got were from people in their 20s and 30s.

It has to do with London properties, according to many reports, being in demand, whereas the rest of the country isn't. This makes your London sale unrepresentative.

It doesn't 'come down to whether you use the internet or not' - every agent up and down the country has an internet presence, and iSold's is no better than anyone else's. There's nothing outstanding about their website as opposed to any other EA site.

I'd suggest you got younger viewers because they're the ones who want a career move to London. Those who've done a stint there and are later in life will be looking to move out to the country for somewhere quieter to raise a family, surely?

You're right. But I was impressed how much attention the propery got without a board up outside, without referrals, and purely through an online presence. I've no idea how many sites they advertise on vs any other estate agency, and can't seem to find any figures on this.

    Rats.
