Do you mean "do you have to move rooms if you book 3 x 1 nights in a row?"
If so - we've done this and checked with receprion on arrival that we stay in the same room for all the nights. In each case it was already arranged that way.

i ment are you allowed more than one night, or is it like a one night only deal and if you book more than one they wont let you have it

OK - no problem with more than one night - as long as you do book each night separately (to get the low price deal).

Breakfast is good value if you have kids. We did this last year with 2 adults and 4 kids in two rooms. Brekky is £7.50 and you buy a voucher from reception - but kids eat free - so £2.50 each was fine. Just like the rooms - brekky not on the same standard as others, but perfectly OK with sausage, egg, toast, patries and cereals, juice and tea/coffee, buffet style. sal x

Oops - two small warnings - one of which caught us out last year - travelodges will not store bags for you under any circumstances, so if you are hoping to go somewhere, store your bags and pick them up later, or arrive early and do similar, you will be disappointed. You are best booking two nights at £9 - silly as it sounds, most storage places are dearer, that is, when you can find them. Also, no shampoo - there is a small soap - we knew this in advance and again, for £9 this is perfectly acceptable. I'd rather take my own and pay less, and I bet many feel the same. Sal x

You have to book 1 night at a time, otherwise it applies the full rate price.

So when you log in add 1 nights stay to your basket, then add another 1 night stay if you want 2 or more nights.

I've never needed to do this. 5 nights all booked as one booking for central London in January during the last sale with no problem, for example.

The drawback to the single bookings is having to queue at the desk each morning to revalidate the key card.

I've stayed at the Kings Cross Royal Scot in London before on cheap deals, also Farringdon (just a bit further up the road from the Royal Scot). I think Euston too. Covent Garden doesn't have a lot of cheap rooms as it's more popular but you can occasionally get something. If you're after a particular date / hotel, may be a good idea to check the price now and if it's quite expensive, I don't think they will reduce them to £9, it just tends to be the ones that are cheaper now which they have more availability for.

Does anyone know which ones in London are sometimes in this deal, are there lots or just a few?
I need to go to london at the beginning of december to visit lots of archives for my dissertation, and if I could find a travelodge for £9 it would make it so much cheaper!
Do they have both midweek and weekend nights included?
Any info and help would be hugely appreciated!:)

    Thanks!

I often stay there for work and we usually use Battersea, which is ok however there is no tube station near there so it means catching a bus then a tube. However there is a new one at Waterloo and there is a good one at Southwark. Also City road ( has a lovely Indian restuarant opposite). Best of luck with your dissertation
