Thanks for the heads up! Always like a good hotel deal.

Never actually stayed in a Travelodge tho, always opt for Premier Inn - what are they like?

Normally clean, spartan and functional. The Ritz they are not, but I have used in past and found them OK, especially on offers, if I was paying full advertised price not sure I would be so satisfied

Do not bother with the breakfast if a local Asda / Tesco etc or other cafe is nearby, much better value
    Numerus non sum
  • Does anyone know if this is all hotels or selected?

I need to book a night at Ashford for the night before we travel to Disneyland Paris.

Also - can I use visa electron on their site?

i've found them to be cheap and cheerful, rooms are basic but clean. if you just need a place to sleep for the night then these are a good deal.

    Very good value for £9.
Not really worth the rack rates and not as nice as Premium Inn IMO.
Some of the airport ones can be really noisy with alarms going and doors slamming at all hours.

But if you're going on a trip and not spending a lot of time in the room then it's great.

Thank you so much for this!

I hope the one in Cambridge is included :)

How fast do they usually get sold out? Do I need to have my mouse poised on the 'book' button at 6am? :P

it depends, i got my Luton one at 9.30 in the morning - it helps if you log into the travelodge site before you start, then you should be much quicker checking out and getting the room you want.

Not all are included - the very popular ones you dont usually get a look in.
  • Does anyone know which ones in London are sometimes in this deal, are there lots or just a few?
I need to go to london at the beginning of december to visit lots of archives for my dissertation, and if I could find a travelodge for £9 it would make it so much cheaper!
Do they have both midweek and weekend nights included?
Any info and help would be hugely appreciated!:)

    Thanks!

i can't be certain but i am fairly sure that a weekend day is very unlikely, midweek though you can usually grab something and i'm fairly certain others said that london does get some rooms for the 9 quid price

i managed to a room in edinburgh (about a mile from the city centre) for just 25p on a wednesday and the next day for just 12.50 in the last big sale they had and the one before that i got a 9 quid room on rose street in edinburgh (runs parallel to princes street!) so it's well worth checking, you may be very pleasantly surprised at what you find :T
