Cheapest at United are £27 (not a great view).

£30 - £40 would be more typical for the North West main clubs.

If you take a child they only cost £10 wherever they are sat, so I try to get the most expensive around £50, nice padded seats and no scrap at the bar, £60 for the two

    England perform better without him.

Let him take his ego to Italy or wherever he chooses. He's not even the best player in that appalling house of his.

    GG

    Carp.

To be fair to Rooney, he isn't a bad player. And England DO need him. Sadly.

I think I paid £85 last time I went to see Tottingham play .

He is one of the few England players who can claim to be "world class" - the other being Ashley Cole.

There are several 'world class' players that play for England IMO. However, they never seem to perform like world class players when they turn out.

I heard that the England players now give their match fees to charity when they play for England. DAK if that's true?

A great buy I think. The best for us since Burkinshaw brought Ozzie Ardiles and Ricky Villa for £750,000 between them.
  • Rooney will leave Manure in January is my guess.

The soap opera of recent weeks has been orhestrated to maximise the transfer fee.

If Rooney stays, Ferguson will probably call it a day.

Ah, the chronic alcoholic George Best.

No content with cheating on his wife (Alex), he also beat her repeatedly.

There will be somewhere someone who was probably deprived of a liver transplant & no doubt died because Georgie got his - only to drink again.

Rooney hardly a role model, but to compare him to George Best is laughable.

Football & Footballers not really your subject is it ?

I'm no defender of George Best, but there is a fundamental difference between the two and - frankly - it's less to do with the individuals and more to do with the cultural environment they operate in.

Best was a s**t, but was unapologetically a s**t. He revelled in his lifestyle, and hid it from noone.

Rooney on the other hand positions himself as a loving husband and father in the pages of trite magazines, and yet favours ugly hookers, then wails like a child when found out.

    Pathetic.

If you're going to be a s**t, at least be a s**t with style.

Yep, Georgie Boy at least had a certain roguish charm, the ladies loved him and all the blokes wanted to be like him, whereas shrek is just vile.
