    He will be sold in the summer for top money. (dont predict that often but I am fairly confident on that one)

    I bet this as all bee arranged, he get's the money he wants for the next 6 months.
    Saves having angry fans outside his house.
    United stand to make £20M-£30M more than they would have should they have sold in January. This has been done before EG ronaldo, Mascherano etc. just not with such public leaverage with bad timing (EG mid season, cup locked with less than 2 years on contract)

    Odd situation, but purely a business decision in my eyes, everyone has got what they wanted. More money.
