Hi ZTD, aye felt like I've been talking to myself these past days!:A
Which is the norm anyway :rotfl:
Ideas? Well Ive decided to start out small, doing signups on cash back sites and ebay. Then maybe when the loan is paid off I can put £10 to one side and start thinking of investing it in something like Matched Betting and build it from there. More ideas to follow. I quite like the make £11000 in 2011 thread but maybe I could try it next year. Debt needs to get paid off first!0 -

If you live on your own, it's a danger. However if you start answering yourself, then it's a worry... :eek:gothrockchic1 wrote: »Ideas? If you make £11,000 - then surely that would help pay the debt off?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Ok visited Mr T's today and used my Giftcard so I ended up spending £2.76 on my shopping :j
ZTD- I dont live on my own, my flatmates a chatterbox but I work in my own office so thats probably where I get it from!
I think I will join the £11,000 challenge, theres no reason why I shouldnt although I am a little late tho. The upside is one of my books on Ebay have a bid on them!0 -
Ok got my Tesco statement today and its a bit more than I expected. I want to cry! :(I have spent on it I confess but I cant believe I've spent £50 on it. So the £50 that I've paid off has paid the purchases I made. They were for friends birthdays etc...SO NO MORE!! EVER!!
Anyway, another item sold on Ebay yesterday so thats packaged up and ready to go tomorrow. Apart from the trip to Glasgow next week Im skint. So loads of NSDS this month me thinks!0 -
Okies Ive calmed from yesterday. I just freaked out when I saw the statement online that I forgot my £75 refund hadnt been applied yet so it'll be less than that.
Just relisting a few items on Ebay as they dont sell right now, not very MSE at the moment tho. I will lis more items tomorrow as I have a week off next week and have more time to package the items up so more is getting listed this week!0 -
OK I have ebayed loads of stuff, but Im not finding Im making much profit on Ebay tho....can anyone recommend another site? Many people are finding ebay not to be really worth it. Once they had an effective monopoly, then they hiked up the charges.
Music magpie ( http://www.musicmagpie.co.uk/ ) may be a place to sell CDs etc, but again don't expect to make megabucks from it. Just try it and see how you get on."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Thanks ZTD, I must admit Im a little Ebay obsessed at the moment but I now think how much profit I expect. I will wait until a free lsiting day to Ebay the big items. I have loads of little items to sell so getting 50p from them each is better than nothing! And its stuff I would have put in the car boot/charity shop anyway so if Im making money out of it great! I got my refund through from the college Ive update my sig so its not as bad as I thought it was the other day!0

There's apparently a free listing day this weekend. http://pages.ebay.co.uk/promos/0IF_110212/index.html

I've been reading but have been too busy with work to reply but I do like to catch up with how you're doing
There isn't much money in Ebay now, but every little helps. With the new lower postage it's sometimes better to list cd/dvd/books etc on Amazon IF it works out better. But even if you only make a little it's less clutter too.0
