Yes I have. Sorry I couldn't post initially, I couldn't find the post and then spotted JMV's private message and told all.

I finally flipped at my treatment by the Housing Officer and fired off a letter of complaint to the Council. Received 2 e-mails saying they would contact me.

The next morning I received a phone call from Anthony and he got both barrels. I'd been up all night worrying so he caught it. He then went off and that was followed by another phone call asking me to widen my choices to include flats. That I did. Getting really desperate! Nothing against flats but would they accept my dog?

Two days later I received a phone call from Pam who delightfully kept calling me....'my lovely,' offering me a one bedroomed bungalow in a village right in the middle of the country AND with oil fired central heating charged in with the rent!

No more freezing to death and humping coal and ash.

I went to see it on Tuesday and it's perfect. Needs some TLC but it will definitely do. Mine from Monday 13th. They are checking the electrics, the oil and decorating.

So I'm finally there. My permanent headache and eye tic have both gone. Amazing what stress will do and yet it could have been so different.

To the poster who asked why my daughter left me. I can understand your question but she had no choice. After battling her ex in court and winning, her brief overheard him asking the clerk of the court about appealing. Her advice, leave as quickly as possible.

After living with the threat of being refused by the courts for months and hardly sleeping, she had no choice and I would never have agreed to her staying.

Now he barely contacts the boys and is trying to stop CSA payments.

So thank you all and particularly JMV for your help and support.

I feel blessed that I will have a roof over my head at Christmas and somehow I am going to find a way to help those who don't.

    A MERRY CHRISTMAS

You may want to look at the child support forum and see if REMO helps in any way. Refer your daughter there.

    Thankyou for your kindnes.

Regarding Remo I'll take a look. My daughter has to confirm to the CSA that she is in Australia which she has refused to do, her attitude being that they are his boys wherever she is and although he criticised my new son in law in court, he is quite happy for him to pay the bills. No surprise there then!

She's also informed the Australian CSA but they can't enforce.
