i got mine from p4u as orange direct didnt have it and i think are still out of stock now
they didnt even try and keep me when i said i wanted the hd so got
500 mins
unltd texts
500mb data
35 a month a bit more than i wanted to spend but they were pretty vague with me when i went direct so decided not to waitWhat goes around-comes around0 -
Phone I ordered from mobiles.co.uk is out of stock, really annoying. Now that the price has gone up on e2save I might just wait it out seeing as they are the same company.
I've also been told if you call T-Mobile you can get the data cap increased from 1GB to their usual 3GB cap, all it takes its one phone call and a bit of talking to.0 -
Phones4U were offering this at £450 handset only, Carphone Warehouse £495. I was going to have continue my rolling month £10 with Three
(2GB internet, 100 mins, unlimited text & Three to Three, free voicemail) which would cost me an addtional £180 over 18 months
Phoned Three and got this (minutes may be low but it suits me)
£160 handset
£18 per month for 18 months
150 mins
2GB internet
750 texts
£5 downloads
Total Cost: £484
I no longer get free Three to Three (got 2GB internet instead), but do get free Skype + MSN.
Had the handset since monday, contract hasn't started yet.
Three sent me a letter saying it was a 24 month contract, but I've rang them up and they've changed it and are sending me another letter with 18 on. Pretty happy with the deal and of course the phone0 -
Just ordered my Desire HD through quidco - £60 cashback for all D HD deals at Dialaphone not just this one).
Free phone, 24 month contract, Orange Dolphin 25 - 300 mins, unlimited texts, 500 mb data. 2 months free by redemption and £25 per month. Total cost £490 if Quidco and monthly redemption come through.
This suits my usage, with not a lot of money at risk on the redemption.
If anyone sees a better deal in the next few days, please post. I'll take my chances with a big redemption deal if it is worth it.0 -

Have you managed to find out the terms of the cashback deal?
The only information I can find seems wrong and really vague:
"For 2 months of your contract line rental is FREE! (Thereafter £25.00 per month). That's a saving of £50.00!
Your £50.00 saving is available by redemption in 1 stage: £10.00 at month 6"
I'm not sure it even makes sense.0 -
I am currently with O2 and im thinking of getting a new HTC Desire HD, Now i am going to try for a good deal with my current provider but not sure i will get it and looking through pages and pages of deals on the net i have come to the conclusion that for new customers T-Mobile seem to have the best deal, Orange have a few but i had a bad experience with them and vowed never to return.
I like the look of the T-Mobile deals although i am a little unsure about the internet limits and would like some help please.
It seems that the best deals are from sites like e2save and such but i hear that you only get 1GB if i were to order from them but 3GB if i order from the T-Mobile website and wondered if this were true?
Also i did read on this thread that if you were to phone T-Mobile then they would possibly upgrade this to 3GB, If true then exactly how would you go about this? (What would you say to them).0 -

Hi, i too have been with o2 for a numbe of years and would have preferred to stay with them for my contract renewal this month but they simply couldn't offer me the kind of deal i was after. Last night i phoned T Mobile's customer service team and explained what i was looking for - the other networks couldn't match it so i have signed up with T Mobile for the following:
£25 per month for 18 months
Samsung Galaxy S (no additional cost for phone outside of £25 monthly)
600 mins
500 texts
Unlimited data (i asked about the fair usage cap which is 3GB)
Free booster of choice
I'm really pleased with this and am due to receive the phone tomorrow. The only thing i'm unhappy about is having to pay for voicemail...0 -
Gracefields
That sounds like a very good deal for £25 a month.
You say that phone was no extra cost which is strange because I just went onto the t-mobile website and looked up the Samsung Galaxy S and it says the phone is free from £35 a month so I selected £25 a month and they want £225 up front then £25 a month for 18 months?
So is it better to phone them and explain what I am after rather than just order from the website then?
Thanks in advance0 -
I would definitely give them a call - i looked at the website too but didn't see anything that fitted what i was looking for specifically. If you have an idea of the number of minutes & texts etc you're looking for this helps when you phone the customer service teams.
I phoned T Mobile initially and got the above deal offered to me but with a phone cost of £22; i then went and phoned o2 and Orange to check their deals and when T Mobile phoned me back to check if i was still interested i said i was but would like the phone for free, and they agreed (after "checking with their manager"!).
Phone arrived this morning - now just need to get the number ported over.0 -
