Well I have sold some more items on ebay and my total in my paypal account is £30.03. Have a couple of items finishing tomorrow which have bidders which is good! Still got lots which am relisting as they arent selling so will relist once more then may need to reassess perhaps bundle them.
Also washed lots of things ready to list, the clothes I was given, I know that its not very money saving but I just want to be sure they are all ok! Not going to iron though, so will start taking the photos today and get them on.
Spoke to HR my wages are correct :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: NOt happy, now I need to really reassess my finances, its going to be very very tight.

That's not good news about your wages. Indeed!
Well done on your ebay sales! That's brilliant!:j"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I agree, it's a bummer about your wages. I remember 18 years ago, dh had just started a new job. We had 2 small children and a new baby, and I thought there had been some mistake and we ended up with no wages at all in the month before Christmas. It turned out it was correct and he had to work a month in lieu. I was in a panic. But in the end we got through it somehow and we're still here to tell the tale.
It's so much easier when you can look back and know you've managed to cope with it - but at the time it seems like everything is against you and you wonder what you've done in a previous life to have this piled on you lol I can't remember if I posted this here already but one of my favourite sayings is 'that this too shall pass'. This is a blip, that's all.:heart2:

2011 is here, what an awful ending to 2010. I firstly would like to apologise for not coming on here for so long, I hit a rough patch when I and partner had an argument over the state of the house and how down I am then what went from a cheap christmas ended up being an expensive one which I now feel really disappointed and guilty not to mention the way family have made me feel over it and here we are now. Skint, in debt and one big mess.
I feel slightly thankful though for the way family have made me feel, I got in debt to make sure everyone had a lovely amount of presents and a wonderful time with food drink, something it so wasnt. I was made to feel like the presents werent good enough, I know its not about receiving but all the effort and the time and debt and I feel embarrassed that I put all the effort in. The food hasnt all been eaten and I am having to throw loads away now as is going out of date. And to top it all off Ive had flu. So quiet a disapointing christmas.
As the 31st December approached, I started feeling a little more positive, something just made me think about how I need to stop feeling so down and once I am feeling all better then start cracking on with LIFE! I thought about how superstitions are superstitions and maybe I do take them far too seriously, then I thought about how you have to make your own luck, I think of the superstitions and luck and I think I need to start making my own luck for example work hard and put my effort into everything.
Everyone has different circumstances, everyone deals with things differently but positivety is the way forward.
As the clock turned midnight and 2011 was finally here I actually got tears in my eyes and a sense of relief. I think thats a good sign?
I am having some problems on ebay, I left feedback for someone 3 weeks after I sent the item and then they came back saying they hadnt received it, now they have opened a case and its for about £10 of stuff. why would they have left it so long? Also someone else who I sent the item too was getting really shirty with me with regards to receiving their item for christmas even though I sent it way before christmas and we had all that snow. I just cant believe it, my feedback is going to be awful and I dont know how I will build it up again. All at a time when I could really do with the money. I am scared of going on ebay.
I just want to get this year started in such a happy way.Clutter clearout - 12 bags

Hi Unsavy, sorry to hear your Christmas wasn't too great, but it's a new year now, and we've got 365 days to make a difference.
With your ebay sales - do you have proof of postage? If so, refund the buyer, and take it up with the Royal Mail. You should get a refund for the missing item so you won't be out of pocket.
With regards to the other one - there's not a lot you can do about it. Many people have one or two negs on their account, so just ignore it and move on. If they leave a neg, you can always respond with a comment, but only do that if you can leave something reasonable which explains the situation. Don't leave nasty comments otherwise it will look worse on you.
Once you sell a few more items, then the negs will fall off the front page anyway.
I purchased some items on 12th December which haven't arrived yet, but I haven't contacted the seller yet as I figure it's just delayed due to the snow. If they don't turn up by the end of this week, then I will. It might be the reason why your buyer hasn't told you sooner.
Don't let a couple of numpties get you down, just stay polite and helpful to them where you can, and you may avoid the neg anyway.
Good luck!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Thanks Jwil, your so kind! I have refunded the amount and will now make a claim to royal mail. Well I havent received anything else from the buyer with the attitude so I will leave it there for now. I will not let this get me down again this year!

Well I bought myself a new note book for this year, not very money saving however i need to really get myself organised and I have decided that I dont want this year to fly by like last year and not have achieved anything. I have written down all the birthdays and christmas presents I have to buy throughout the year and I will budget for it each month.
I have also decided to hand back my lockup/garage to the council saving £59 a month (cant really be classed as either as its too small to be a garage for a modern car and its become a storage ground), going to go clear it out this week so can give back next week. Excited about it to be honest as thats a saving.
Not heard anything from blackhorse yet regarding the money they underpaid me for the ppi claim, I will check the date it was sent etc and then chase it up.
Been putting christmas bits away and found loads of things to ebay, and also I have decided to get rid of some of my shoe collection, i do not need the amount I have.
