hi hun, sorry to hear about your dad. hope the donkey riding cheers you both up a bit, it sounds fab :)

i am planning to go to new zealand with a uni friend next year in jan-march 2013 time (depends on tour dates etc..). we are doing a two week tour of both islands as my friend can only get 3 weeks off work.

however i was still torn between going to peru (she really doesnt want to do inca trek and i do). as its better to go there later and its a new holiday year i have thought '!!!! it' and if my finances are are on track in december this year (debt free and new zealand payments/savings on track) then i am considering going there sept 2013 with a different friend. as she can get longer off work we may be able to take in a bit of bolivia too and do the salt flats :D

I hope you have been busy with ebay making some extra pennies I managed 24 items but its sooooooo boring but the debt keeps me going
    Have a great week

    HWG x

Only managed 3 re-lists and 3 new ones. My 3 new ones were only basic ones as well to get in quick on the free listings, so need to fill those in properly and add photos. I worked 12-8 Sat and 12-6 Sun, so that is my defence! Well done on 24 items that's excellent news :)

£10 to Barclays CC today :)

Got an email address for Tescos so will be writing my complaint to them today.

Spoke to electric people on Friday and it would seem that the new meter has not solved our problems :( A guy down the pub was an electrical engineer before he retired and he has said he will come round on Wednesday night and do some independent tests for us, to see if he can find a problem. Bless him, I will owe him a couple of beers for that! :)

Oops better go, will be late for doctors appointment otherwise!

    Hi Beccie

Good to see your flying with the CC
Not sure if this will be any help to you but my sister suffers badly with IBS and at the start of last year she wanted to lose a little weight and im only talking a few lbs so she followed the Dukan diet at the end you follow a less restricted diet but she still follows to this day and has never suffered with IBS since. I have followed it too and certainly felt less bloated maybe worth having a look could save you a few ££

    £70 to the CC :)

I am now at 70% paid off :D

Hi HWG, thank you, I have looked at the Dukan diet before. From what I remember it is very similar to my own 'made up' diet of things I have figured out worked over the years. I know in part it's my own fault so I've started to pull that in - back on a much better diet (no carbs) and exercising again now as I'd let it all go a bit. Feels a bit of a chore sometimes when working lots as well but unfortunately if I get more than about 7lbs overweight (currently I'm around 10lbs) then I do start to suffer.

I mainly try to control it with diet and exercise but unfortunately (too much info coming up!) I am sick a lot, maybe 3 or 4 times a week. It had started happening at about 3 in the morning and the acid in it was giving me a swollen throat all the next day, so in the meantime I've got some tablets for that.

Sorry to gross you all out early in the morning! :D

that doesnt sound good :( have you heard of the FODMAP diet? it was on the food hospital programme that i watched the other day and the lady on there that followed it said her symptoms pretty much disappeared after a few days of following it (and then returned when she stopped!). i have googled a link for you-
    http://foodhospital.channel4.com/conditions/irritable-bowel-syndrome/low-fodmap-diet/

know how you feel about loosing a few pounds, i think if you only have a small amount to drop it is so much harder :( i decided to go to a toning gym class on sunday to work problem areas. it included 20 mins of squats and i still cant walk properly today! my muscles are soo tight and my leg nearly gave way walking down the stairs! wont be doing that again as whilst it was a very good workout, aside from the fact i cant walk properly i have had to miss two gym sessions so overall it has prob had less effect than my normal workouts! :(
