    Morning Sweets :)

I'm going back to Africa in November as my debt-free present to myself :D Limpopo to be precise. I'm going to stay with a friend who I met volunteering in Namibia, who has started working at a rescue centre out there.

Going for a month and will be basically doing whatever he's up to at the time - can't wait to be working with lions again :)

I have - I first went out to Zimbabwe in Dec 08 for 5 weeks and worked with lions then (that was my I'm single after 6 years present to myself, never mind the debt!) and fell in love with it.

Got back in Jan 09 and missed it so much I planned another trip. So later in 2009 I spent a month in Europe horse trekking and bussing about and then went back to Zimbabwe for 3 months to the same place and then headed on to Namibia for 3 months after that where I worked with all sorts of animals - lions, cheetahs, baboons etc.

Came back and had my LBM in Apr 10 (not hard to see where a large part of this debt came from :o). However, in Feb 2011 I went off to Borneo for a couple of months and worked with orangutans. I'd been on a waiting list for over 2 years and decided I couldn't miss the opportunity.

And now we are here! :D Sorry for the rambling reply xx

Ar wow you've done so many things I'd love to do, well done for taking the opportunities hun. If I didn't have the kids I know I'd be off doing similar things :o

I absolutely love orangutans :) We are planning a trip to Borneo for my 30th birthday, will maybe stop for 2 weeks if we can (my Mum will be having the kids)

That is a really boring explanation!

The guy from Tesco had a bit of a cheek to suggest an earlier slot - they offer it, you took it! A dumb thing for him to say.

I have no words for how jealous I am that you're booking flights.

Ooo, lovely. When is your 30th birthday? You'll have a fantastic time I'm sure :) Me and OH should be setting off on our round the world trip in Jan 2014 so we will be somewhere exotic for both our 30ths (we're both 27 now)

I am going to put in a full complaint to Tescos tomorrow. Waiting till then as I'm convinced something else will still go wrong!

Don't want to make you more jealous but just been speaking to my Mum and we are going to go to France for a week in September. She said she will pay, bless her :A Don't know if I mentioned on here but my Dad did a runner a few days before Xmas after 34 years of marriage so things have been stressful of late. She wanted to get out and do something different so we are hiring a donkey and trekking through the mountains hopefully. Have emailed to enquire, fingers crossed they are not fully booked :)

It's not until 2015 :o I'm 26 at the mo. I like to plan my holidays though lol.

We're planning on going to Vegas for DH's 30th which is next year, can't wait to get that booked :D

Crikey, that does sounds stressful. I'm sure a holiday together will be great, especially if there are donkeys involved!

Definitely write the complaint - I like Tesco and mistakes happen but I hate it when companies try to make out that their mistake is somehow your fault.

Me and my DH are both 30 within 2 weeks of each other next year, and we definitely want to be somewhere cool for them. Thinking maybe Scandinavia.

Sorry just read the second half of your post properly - I'm working from home (or supposed to be :D so didn't read it properly before)

That's terrible what's happend hun, a break in France will definitely do you all good. Weather should be lovely in September too :) You don't half like to travel do you hun, girl after my own heart ;)

I agree with mrsb, can't believe they had the cheek to say you shouldn't have booked that slot. So insulting it's funny :rotfl:
