I've heard such bad things about Asda that I have never used them.

Now I'm totally confused - have just had an email from Tesco. It says that they would like to apologise for the difficulties I have encountered with my order and they are refunding me £108.01 for the mint I ordered....I ordered a mint plant but I most defnitely didn't pay that for it! So confused!

Just been on to check my Tesco account - the guide price had changed from £105 to £142! Just called them and they have promised I will not be charged more than the £105. Not sure I trust them at this point though!

Asked again about the email - most likely won't be coming through till this afternoon.

The special offers change on a Tuesday so it's probably updated with the new prices.

I've found their CS to be great so hopefully once everything is sorted out you'll be better off than when you started!

I checked and the special offers wouldn't have caused the difference in price (unfortunately not that good deals!) and the lady I spoke to confirmed the same. She also assured me that I would still be eligible for the special offers that expired today as it isn't my fault it is now not coming till tomorrow. She suggested it's maybe because the counter products haven't been weighed yet although that has never caused issues in the past. How bizarre!

Thanks MrsB, handy to know that is the day they change when working meal plans out :)

CS have been very polite but I think they are just as confused as I am! :rotfl:

Will just have to await this afternoon's email I guess and hope the actual store involved can shed some light on it.

Still no news from Tesco - the mystery continues :D

Just sent a small £1 payment to Barclays CC to test that I have set the new payment up properly.

Just realised that I will need to wait for the last standing order to show on the loan account which may be another few days yet, so to deal with the frustration of waiting I am starting on Barclays now! :D

    £15 to the CC :)

I'm sorry to have kept you all waiting on what turns out to be a very boring explanation :D They were a driver down and so he didn't have time to make all the deliveries - they should have called me but didn't.

Guy on the phone suggested that perhaps getting such a late delivery (9-11) wasn't such a good idea as there is less time to sort things out - I told him that if they didn't charge me twice as much for an earlier delivery then I would consider it :)

The guide price is £142 still  I have been promised though that it won't be that and if it is when it is delivered then to call them straight away. I have a feeling this is not over yet! :D

Oh well, maybe I'll get another voucher :D
