£100 to the loan and 16p to savings :)

Had a lovely day off yesterday for our anniversary. We only ate junk food and watched films as we didn't want to spend loads of money but seeing as I can't remember the last time we actually spent a full day together without one of us rushing off somewhere it was lovely :)

£140 to the loan and 57p to savings :)

Have ordered a proper lasagne dish and a tin for baking foccacia in. The meal plans we have been doing have been saving us lots of money and we've eaten some really nice food but as it's a lot of 'proper' cooking, I'm getting annoyed with not having the right stuff to use. At £8 each I decided it was worth it.

    Oh, and 56% now :)

    Yay 56%!!!

The right kit is definitely required - I'm getting a slow cooker this week with some Tesco vouchers. DH says I have to clear a space for it first though (my pantry is a nightmare!) :o

  • 56% fantastic :T

I agree on the meal plans & making proper food. Thats probably one of the biggest factors with our reducing spending since LBM.

Spreadsheet is showing at £11,500 for the end of the year but I would really like to see a 10 at the beginning of that figure entering 2012 :)

We have a slow cooker and it is really useful so worth clearing the space :)

Definitely, I thought we had got our food budget pretty low but turns out we can do more! I do try and keep to nice food by making the extra effort cooking as OH eats the food too and it would seem a shame if he had to eat rubbish food just because I'm in debt! :)
