Still waiting for my delivery from Argos. It's driving me nuts! Got to go out for a couple of hours now, don't know what will happen if I miss the delivery??? Good news is, had a reply on Facebook to a message I sent to Argos and it says that the delay is only for Pre orders after the 5/11 I ordered mine way before that. Oooo just had a text from Argos saying it will be delivered today :j so excited!
Wish they had said that in the first place, generally I think the communication from Argo has been pretty poor, especially for a company its size and experience.
Picked mine up from game last night, so will be returning my Argo one.0 -

Might be an idea not to sign for it, because I'm not sure if they'll allow you to return it. I think it is outside their 30 days return policy - unless it is covered by distance selling.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
Just back from Costco Glasgow, they got the grand total of 20 in this morning but I think most of the staff will snaffle them, as I left the store I heard mumblings about not knowing they were in. I paid the princely sum of ........ £117.48 ....... well chuffed! Will cancel the one I had on order from Very.com.

No shortage of them in Argos stores around me.
Those of you who have rushed out to buy, or are planning to do so, be aware of what ISN'T mentioned in the adverts - the fact you need a distance of at least 6 ft between the Kinect unit and you as the gamer.
People have found that any less than this means the system doesn't detect movement properly.
Not that I had planned on buying it, but it's definitely out of the question as it would result in a complete overhaul of my living room being required!0 -
Yea you defiantly do need quite a bit of room for it to work well, be careful if you put it on top of your television, the sensor bar moving up and down as it tracks you can change its center of gravity causing it to fall off0

I don't know how good it is and if you're trying to save money i don't recomend it at £30, just put it the underneath the Tv on the tv unit instead0 -

A bit pricy, probably because of the 'official' Microsoft licence.
Putting it at the bottom is probably the easiest but will mean you have to stand further back for it to work effectively. You really need to get it as close as possible to the eye level of the tallest person who is going to be playing it0
