I dont have an Argos account either but if you look at your confirmation email from the order there is an order number and a link on there to track your order click on it and put your order number in and the other details it asks for and your order comes up.

I have received an e-mail asking me to rate the service so I am hopeful it might come tomorrow. They told me at CS it doesn't need to be signed for so I can leave a note on the door with where they delivery can be left if I am out. Not planning on anything other than school run but do have an after school activity so hopefully it will come during the day!

Ok, after being into Argos they could not give me any more information about my pre order (which I could understand) but they said they will have 'limited stock' in store tomorrow.

If your not feeling 100% that Argos will deliver to you tomorrow and cant wait you could either:

Keep checking the Argos site as soon as it lets you reserve stock reserve one if the delivery does not turn up, pick one up in store.

Alot of game /gamestions are having midnight openings, speaking to staff in my local one (Bexleyheath) if you are there at midnight you sould have no problems in getting one. So collect one at midnight, if the pre order does not turn up, cancell the order, if it does you have 7 days to return it under distance selling regulations.

Of course both ways mean you have to have another £129 available until you get a refund from Argos for your preorder.

EXCLUSIVE: Microsoft Kinect will sell out in 24 hours

The Microsoft Kinect will be sold out within 24 hours in many stores, says UK retailer Game. Even though it is having a massive midnight launch across the company's 400 stores (including Gamestation), the second in two days after Call of Duty: Black Ops, some of those queuing may not get their hands on one because of massive interest.

Talking exclusively to Pocket-lint, Game's head of PR, Neil Ashurst, said, "there will be stores, and not just some of ours, that will sell out in 24 hours up and down the country because of [the shortage of] stock. You will hear reports that it is sold out".

However, other stores, including larger Game branches are likely to take a bit longer to sell out.

This has really annoyed me! :mad:I pre ordered mine from Argos a month ago and had a discount code at the time so it only cost me £118. Only found out about this delay after searching to find out about delivery time as i have to go out tomorrow. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that they still have no clue who will be getting one when delivery is supposed to be tomorrow! So i guess they aren't contacting people to inform them that they may not even be getting one (they have both my contact numbers and they have not attempted to ring me) and leaving it far to late for people to cancel and pre order somewhere else. Surely they have a rough idea on how much stock they have and could at least let some people know. I am sure Argos will be losing custom over this shambles and will be hearing from some very angry customers.....

I ordered mine today just before the 1pm deadline and had a despatch email. friend ordered after that time and will get it on Thurs, this was at GAME online. Rang local store and they said out of stock until end November. Pity I keep forgetting Quidco, Play.com seemed to have stock too

My husband fancies this but im waiting till April for his birthday, hopefully stock will be better to get then!!

Asda clarifies Kinect launch stock

Supermarket will have both solus and bundle SKUs for all in stores tomorrow

UPDATE: Asda has confirmed that it will have free stock of both the solus Kinect SKU and the Kinect hardware bundle for the launch of Microsoft's motion device tomorrow.
"After working hard with Microsoft to ensure day one availability we have reached a position where we will have stock for free sale on day one – no need to pre-order," a blog update reads.
"This is for both the Kinect Sensor bar and for the 4GB bundle with the Sensor bar, and of course the range of Kinect games.
"Now obviously we can’t guarantee availability in every store for very long, as we know demand is very high, but we’ve got to a place where hopefully we can make a lot of customers happy on launch day.
"I’d still recommend that if you want to get your hands on either product you do so at midnight or certainly as early as possible on Wednesday to avoid disappointment, but believe me we are working hard to ensure we can supply Kinect to everyone who wants it."
