Nobody can know but I'd be surprised if that would work for more than a quarter of households.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Buy one from argos and just take it back if it doesn't work0

I have an indoor aerial from Freeview in my kitchen and another in my son's bedroom.
I have a very similar one to this (mine is an older model that I got for half price - £12) http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-4282.aspx
I also have this one. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-5164.aspx I didn't pay £35 for it though.
We get lovely pictures with both aerials. And our signal strength is not that brilliant. We only get the basic Freeview channels in our area (22 in total, 10 of which are BBC ones, plus 10 radio stations) We get the same channels as we do that are connected to the big aerial up in the loft. Make sure that it says it's for digital, as much dB as possible. The ones we have both say they're 46dB. Our old indoor aerials wouldn't work once the analogue was turned off - and the reception was terrible with them on analogue.0
