Hello all
Not posted for a while so massive hugs to those that want them, hoorahs to those who've dun good and get better soon to the poorly ones.
Not much to update here, C is walking and talking like a real mini person now and it's fab. She goes in nursery no problem at all and is generally lots of fun to be with. She is still sleeping with me
but we'll deal with that in time.
Have taken today off work to clean the house - got the rug doctor in the car to do the carpet tomorrow and then the tree can go up (and it will be Decemeber by then so Sami won't shout at me).
Here are a couple of pics from last week....
Got a busy baby week ahead - seeing my best mates baby girl tomorrow morning who was born on Sat, my other friend in the afternoon with her 10 week old and then seeing the girl I am covering for at work on Sat with her 4 week old - will be either very broody after that lot or all babied out :rotfl:
Oh and I'm a bit miffed that I didn't think to take pics of C in the snow today  hope it's still here in the morning.
Hugs to all, especially WD, SS and Scruffy xxxMy baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil0 -
I am almost all traumatised...
OH likes to take relaxing baths with candles. Elijah loves to blow the candles out when she is done with the bath. Today she called to tell him he could come blow them out now, he RUSHED in at speed and eagerly blew the tall one rather too closely, knocked it and it fell on himluckily it went out and luckily the molten wax went on his pyjama top not his actual chest, but was obviously still hot and painful for him til I got the top off. He didn't cry, but was very concerned and kind of stunned and upset and eventually says "Candles...on the NIPPLES! Candles were on the NEEPles!"
So a few minutes later I lead him back into the bathroom to brush his teeth, he wouldn't go up on the step for the sink, pointing and complaining about the "scary candles"... I had to move them to the far corner and told him it was OK now as they were far away... he kept breaking off from brushing teeth to tell me "the candles are far away now" and wait for my agreement...
Then I took him to bed, he clings to my neck like a monkey telling me that the candles are far away, the candles are very scary... I reassure him that the candles are all gone to sleep but he kept clinging to my neck saying "Something is very scary, dadden. Something is very scary!". I calmed him and eventually lay him down and the final thing he said as I left the room was "Candles...on the..on the boobies".

Poor Elijah! Hopefully he'll forget very soon.
I had a long reply typed out but the small girl headbutted my keyboard and lost it. So hugs all round to everyone who might want or need one. We're doing much better, although the child is going to need some serious airing out/running to exhaustion tomorrow because she is driving me mad. I hadn't realised that we're actually extremely active; being stuck in a room is very frustrating.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Gorgeous photos, I thought I'd said but it vanished
Susan we've walked the corridors, taken her brand new wellies out for a test drive, sang songs, watched Ivor, read books, rearranged everything, climbed, tickled, pointed at everyone's facial features and named them..... this is really hard work. Not complaining though - it's like bonus holiday, and tomorrow we're planning to take advantage of it by doing a touristy thing and having a lovely brunch. assuming we can get into townI also plan to buy new boots, since mine are leaking and it's making me miserable.
