I know this is the easy option, and I do order online a lot (if I can get discount codes!) but me and my sis are alternating the weeks of doing morrisons shops, so we can get the £30 christmas voucher to give to our mum. this week was supposed to be my turn but nevermind! Maybe I will ring her and see if she wants to do this week and I will try order online with tescos. Not sure if the deliveryman will make it theres lots of snow here and not one car has driven past! LOL
I didn't realise boots.com £12 worth of points ran out last night! I had couple of xmas presents, nappies, wrappers, etc in my basket and thought I would order today, I am gutted I missed it now, and think I might leave my order as surely they will have this offer again soon?0 -
Kitkat- when we had snow at the start of the year Tesco refused to deliver, but I did get a free delivery code and a £10 off out of it so it's worth a bash.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Afternoon everyone...
KK I agree that it might be nice to just stay in and do an online order, just be honest with your sis and say it is a nightmare getting out at the moment, Can you arrange for people to come visit you instead of you being the one to go out all the time? My best friend and I take it in turns to visit each other with our kiddies. I also make sure I don't plan days out EVERY day as I think it is nice to stay home sometimes.

My baby is very poorly sick:( I got her in at the doctors this morning, she is now on anti-biotics for a bad chest and sorely, red, inflamed ears and throat. She has also got drops for conjunctivits... thankfully K seems to be on the mend.

MEL - hugs to your DD and hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon
Re the bathing issue my kids only get washed about 2/3 times a week and always in the form of a dunk in the shower with me or OH - though he refuses to bathe DD as he's afraid of dropping her :rotfl:
I'm in a good mood today - going to see my mum later on with DD so that usually means she'll do the night feeds for me so i can get a full nights sleep. DS got picked up by his grandad today and is going to stay there for the weekend so i'll only have one child to contend with.
DD had her hospital appointment this morning and all the nurses were cooing over her whilst we were waiting to be seen and the consultant said he's happy with her progress.Married since 28/04/2007

I have a baby that wants attention ALL THE TIME and a toddler (no explanation needed). Today I cannot get a single thing done because of the pair of them and I really need to make important phone calls (never mind the cooking/cleaning etc). They are constantly moaning and it is driving me up the wall.......AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!

So if i bath my baby twice a day and her eczema covered skin flares up as its dry, then starts cracking and bleeding, its ok? As long as she's been bathed and is clean? ¬¬
Afternoon all, thought i would pop on whilst Lily is playing with a pair of my (clean) knickers :rotfl:
I dont even know where she got them from, probably her secret stash i cant seem to find!
I just had a pot noodle and belly baby is all happy

I shower my kids twice a week. More if they need it. And they wash their hands and faces regularly.
They are perfectly happy, healthy children
God knows where you all find time to shower twice a day and I'm glad I'm not in charge of your water or energy bills, especially not if you have an electric shower!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

hi, just introducing myself, I had my little man just over 2 weeks ago and hoping to get some advice if possible. I was breastfeeding at first but then we were to and from the hospital as he got a mild skin infection and was slightly jaundice so they were checking his levels and it was just easier to switch it formula. Anyway my boobs engorged and then went back to normal so I thought that was all over, now today my left boob is incredibly painful, more so than when it was engorged, does anyone know what this is or what to do about it? I tried having a warm bath it didn't help and I've taken some diclofenac I had left over from the c-section but it hasn't touched the pain.0
