Just been googling it and the nurse was wrong to insist on my consent as OH has parental rights from being on Erin's birth certificate. Going to print off the information to give them when we go next month.

I thought that was the case when I saw your post earlier. Do I remember correctly that you and OH aren't married? I wonder if that influenced the nurse, but  at them as they were clearly in the wrong.
HI AC. I didn't know you had an eptopic. That must have knocked you for 6 :( Glad to see you back anyway, how are your brood?

    SS I miss 3 too :(

Kitkat he won't still have cradle cap when he grows up, and anyone who passes comment isn't worth listening to.

Izzy is loving pudsy bear being on the tv :)

H still has cradle cap and he is 1 . He has loads of hair though so it's not that visible. We only bathe him in water and don't use any soap or shampoo though as he has inherited my sensitive skin.

Had a lovely day today, although we made the mistake of going to the new soft play place which seemed to be full of unsupervised feral children, trampling all over little ones. My two pregnant friends visited this afternoon which was lovely, although they were a bit  at how quickly H could make mess, and how he refused to stay still for a second :D.

I am :j as my emotionally crippled Dad just phoned to wish H a happy birthday, and he sent a card. Both of which make me :).

    Afternoon all

Can anyone recommend anything for cradle cap? I have been using cradle cap shampoo and putting olive oil on T's scalp but it's not getting any better. His eczema on his face is quite bad too, is there anything I can put on that? I have again been using olive oil but as his skin is so dry it just soaks it up in 2 minutes. Just wana try ease it for him, when out shopping some lady commented on it and it's really got to me.

Just had my £10 off £20 next order, bit peeved as the one item has a bit chip in it so it's being collected Monday. Hope the replacement is ok as it's a present for my sis.

OH is home tonight so it'll be nice having someone to talk to!

Speak to your hv, I've seen ours today and she's prescribed us a new cream and referred us to the eczema clinic. She gave me loads of info - see my post on the mse fb group. If u cant find it let me know and i'll repost here later,

eta dont specifically mention that you want oilatum, just mention cream and bath additive. We were prescribed oilatum when T was small but currently have doublebase and now another one which is like a vaseline consistency. There's also lots of good advice from others on my fb thread too.

As someone with an emotionally crippled Dad, I'm really pleased for you :D I would probably cry if my Dad showed that much interest lol...

Gill, I get prescribed stuff that's like solid vaseline to wash my hands in for my eczema because I shouldn't use soap :o
