I would probably cry if my Dad showed that much interest lol...
Gill, I get prescribed stuff that's like solid vaseline to wash my hands in for my eczema because I shouldn't use soap
I almost cried. I said Henry would love to see him soon so he must visit- I think that was a step too far for him but I'm happy with the phonecall....surprised but happy .

Sounds very special. Better than any expensive present any day. XToo many children, too little time!!!0 -
Okay, birthday present dilemma.....my step-sister has bought H a coast for his birthday which is both too small, and totally not my/H's style. Would you (a) return it for a bigger size and put him in it a few times or (b) return it for something else and just mumble something about them not having it in a bigger size . I am very grateful for the sentiment, but it seems a waste to keep something that he won't use.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

GISI, I'd return it and say they didn't have a bigger size but you bought XXX in it's place. I did that Katie was bought some clothes that were too small ended up getting 3 outfits for the price of the first.
Katie has also had a toy duplicated in the past, returned it for store vouchers a third of which went to her cousin as a Christening gift.
I think the milk of magnesia is beginning to work as there are a lot of bottom burps happeningProud to be dealing with my debts

Thanks MDW. I hope Katie feels better soon.

I agree with MDW, I do it with otherwise I feel guilty for wasting their time and money but won't put her in stuff I don't like. MIL buys very pink flowery stuff.Too many children, too little time!!!0

B, GISI. I'd get him stuff that is his size, be appropriately sad that they didn't have the right size and make sure she sees what you got in its place
Molly's duplicated toys have become her cousin (3 months younger)'s birthday gift :money:
Thanks GISI - I'm steadily getting their Nat Geo DVDs as gifts for people :money:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I am a big fan of that site, SS. I've been buying their bargainous book sets and splitting them up for the numerous first birthdays we've been to this year. I've also sorted at least 4 Christmas presents through them, plus component parts of a few others. The free bag code still works too.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
