Has anyone seen something like this which isn't noisy and battery powered? (ie a bit more traditional) I saw one in the charity shop and T loved it but it was really poor condition and over priced. I don't want him to just have loads of noisy toys. (altho he does have plenty)

I also want something like this where things roll down on their own but again without all the batteries and noise! I used to have one that was a castle...apparantly they were called "shufflies" and they did a farm as well.
Oh wow...this was it...mine was 2nd hand and didnt have anywhere near that many people in it!

OMG I had that toy I loved it so much xx:D

Gill we have a traditional humming tin spinning top from home baragins/quality save that I love and Edgar managed to work (although it does make a noise its a pleasant one not a modern plinky plonky thing)
or we also have http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us/Toys/Activity-Toys/Bruin-Rollabout-Ball%280022430%29 which is kinda like that one you link.

  • Oh my it is very quiet in here these days isn't it?

Our big boy has finally confessed he doesn't believe in Santa - apparently he has know since he was about 7. Hubby thinks it is great and all out in the open, I feel a little :( about it - we continued to pretend in our house....gifts still came from Santa etc, I am not sure how it will run (because I am not his mum) ...but I will have a major influence over how we handle it in our house - I am so glad we have a baby to take over the fun....have already told DSS that we keep up the pretence for Benjamin's sake.

I have been looking for a traditional jack in the box - has anyone seen one?
