threemutleys - I seem to remember evenings were a constant boobs out thing with little man in the first few weeks, come to think of it he also preferred one side too but feeding lying down helped this and made life a lot easier in the nights too. We did quite a lot of inadvertent co-sleeping but the fug of the first few weeks soon passes and bf gets a lot easier. I went to a breast feeding group whcih really helped me see I was doing a good job and all was well, do they have one near you? It's as much social as anything.0

Which nice Hugo Boss one?!?!Rmac I share your Boots rage. I tried to order perfume for Sis this morning online, out of stock. So went to Boots in RL, also out of stock! (But on the plus side the shop assistant did tell me that a very nice ladies Hugo Boss one is perfume of the week from tomorrow, and half price).
Hello threemuttleys... I agree with everyone up there ^^^
Hang on a minute, I haven't got the new one yet
Congrats always:T:T:T, and no it's not impossible, and there are folk here with tips, mel, me, EA, kristal... to name but a few. We'll all pass on our tips

Always, I'll be using washables with both... I can let you know how I'm getting on in about April lol... Also, what about getting a cotbed and putting the current cot up for the baby?
My friend was on about putting her daughter in a bed before her next one comes (same age as my C, 1 month more pregnant than me) I told her there was no way Caitlyn was going into a bed until she starts climbing out of her cot... I don't think my nerves could handle her free range!!! Plus, she has a really good afternoon nap in the cot and I don't want to jeapardise that... I'll be wanting to take full advantage when I've got new baby broken nights...
I made it to Aimee's inspire day, we went for the afternoon... C was a bit of a nightmare in the beginning but they had all the children sitting on the carpet in 1 half of the classroom so I ended up letting her freerange in the other half while firemen did a talk... Then she fell asleep... So it could have been worse
And Aimee was over the moon I'd made it, so I'm glad I did
:) A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

hi weezl - was going to hunt you out! how'd you cope (am sure it's you but sorry if not!) with two under 2 and washable nappies??? All the practicalities are swimming in my head this afternoon! And how am I going to get a double pushchair on the bus (tube a total write off now). And can I get DS in a bed at 18 months as really really can't see the point in having 2 cots for about 6 months. I could be as much as 8 weeks or as little as 4 weeks - maybe should ask for a dating scan too. And thanks to tia for the tip about VBAC team at hospital - it's a big one so there may well be one.
Izzy has been in a bed since she was younger than 1 (I can't remember exactly)... 18 months should be no problem, but you might want a stairgate on the door to save night time wanderings. At least then you can make sure his room is safe and then ignore him until he gets bored and gets back into bed :rotfl:.

Always my eldest pair are 15 months apart - it wasn't actually that bad, you are still in baby mode, changing nappies etc - your elder one likely still naps and once they realise the new baby doesn't *do* much they leave them alone.
Admittedly I'm probably looking at it through rose tinted glasses but I seem to remember it being easier with the pair of them and with their brother (so had 3yr 1 month, 22month old and newborn) than I have now (10 this month, 8, almost 7 and a 10 day old) when all I am saying is get away from the baby, let the baby sleep, don't pick up the baby
The eldest went into a proper bed when her sister outgrew her moses basket, I think she was about 18 months it was fine - except one night we did find her sleeping standing up with her head on the mattress leaning against her chest of drawers - oh and she worked out by climbing from her bed, onto said chest of drawers, walking along the top, jumping into the cot then walking to the other end she could reach the light switch - so watch the room layout. We just pit a stairgate on her bedroom door so she couldnt get out0 -
ladybird - am rofl! His bedroom is our bedroom - still! Maybe this will provide us with even more impetus into getting the house done. Having 2 usable bedrooms would be superb, even better if we get the plan sorted for splitting the massive front bedroom into two singles. Now that would be radical - a nursery and a spare room if only for a few months!! Seriously though, it's encouraging to hear that getting him in a bed at 18 months isn't completely nuts, he's already in a cot bed so that can do the new arrival until he/she's 5 or whatever it is.0

Sorry, but that made me :rotfl:

clairec - that is funny! I thought T was doing well in managing to escape baby prison mark V -his grandma's 60+year old hand me down playpen which just fits in the archway in our lounge, except for about 2" that he spotted the other day!! He is a proper little boy! He's now climbing out his highchair, has broken half the kitchen cupboard locks and makes a beeline for any stairs, great when you're in a 3 storey house!0

Evening all..
I sent OH to pick Rhys up in favour of coming straight home from work to get some housework done.. Hmm, so far I've caught up here, drank tea and eaten toast

There is 21 mths between my eldest two. I moved ds in to a bed at 18 mths to get him use to the idea before dd arrived. We bought him a car bed with roof rather than a proper bed. He loved it. He never climbed out at nights and still went down for naps. Writing this has made me remember what an absolute angel child ds was/is and I never really appreciated that until dd1 arrived :rotfl:- she went in to a bed at 2yrs old and as never gone to bed easily since.
Dummies - no advice as both of mine had them til about 2 yrs old and then santa took them xmas eve. My niece refused to take her dummy once she started teething.0
