She needs some imaginary ones - Alice has varying quantities of pretend baby siblings and they seem to be much more versatile than real babies.bumblebee87 wrote: »awwwww that's really sweet. Congratulations bumblebee!
We've been on an adventure! There's a restaurant supply cash and carry type place that opens to the public the first Monday of the month. Molly and I took a trip there this morning, it's near where I had to go to put in my electoral papers request. I purposely only took a small amount of cash thinking they only took cash but they also take cards  but we have loads of amazing lovely food. And then Molly refused to walk so I carried 10kg of baby and 11kg of food 500m to the train.
She's sleeping now and I can barely move my shoulders :rotfl:
Sorry you're feeling rotten Som, and WM too if you're about.
Oh, Bruno, I saw this and wondered if it might be a good thing for you to have in reserve once Miss Bruno arrives? Send me a FB message if you want a referral.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

They don't sick either. Last time she held a friend's baby, the baby sicked on her dress and ever since she's been careful not to get too close. (Although it hasn't put her off too much as she still keeps telling me she wants a baby brother and a baby sister.)bumblebee87 wrote: »I imagine they would be, usually more compliant than the real one tooAny question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Aless I've just been on the Grabbit board looking at the Debenhams reductions. From Sunday 14th for five days there'll be £80 off Dysons, free del plus the 15% off code. If you have the cash spare or are likely to get it it may be a better deal than the Amazon one?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I'm here. Just back from the Chippy with Lunch. I have such a healthy diet! Have killer sinus pain, and still snotty and grotty, but so, so much better than this time last week. But at least Alex was in the care of others and I could feel sorry for myself in peace.
Sorry you're feeling rotten Som, and WM too if you're about.
Alex is a little baby star, two full nights of sleep. He is now in bed at 6.30pm every night as he starts being all whiney at around 6 ish. But it's working and if and when he has woken up, he plays with Alfie bear for a bit and goes back to sleep. :A
Joe has also been very good, and OH and I have managed to get through a full weekend and are still talking to each other. Life is good. Mind you Joes new found goodness, may have something to do with the fact he has realised his birthday is only 5 weeks away. And only good boys get nice presents and parties or birthday treats.
Presents sorted, just need to come up with party idea quick.
Welcome Bumblebee, she is beautiful.0 -
[STRIKE] Morning[/STRIKE] Afternoon:)
Congrats bumblebee!
Ladies who have had both section and normal delivery was 1st AF after Section a LOT worse than after normal birth??? I'm feeling completely drained as I'm bleeding so much:o:( I know it was heavy after having DS for a few days but this time it's been a week of heavy bleeding with no sign of going, and I was wondering if it's because of having section??
And I know I'll probably get a few "tut tuts"... we made the jumperoo last night and Daisy loves it!!!!:j:j:jYes she's only 9 weeks (tomorrow) BUT she's one of those annoying babies who could support her head from birth and is very very strong for her age. DS was exactly the same and was walking by 9/10 months so it looks like Daisy is going to be the same:eek: And just to add before anyone says she's too young - I would never let her do anything she's not capable of!:p
She jumps already in it with the biggest grin ever!:D:D:D I highly recommend the Jumperoo;)BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
I'm not exactly sure what the jumperoo is but I figure with a lot of these things the age they give is just the typical age range that babies get use out of them. Obviously it is possible to misuse things but I doubt something is going to automatically do a baby harm just because they're not in the official age range. And I know I'll probably get a few "tut tuts"... we made the jumperoo last night and Daisy loves it!!!!:j:j:jYes she's only 9 weeks (tomorrow) BUT she's one of those annoying babies who could support her head from birth and is very very strong for her age. smatie - no tut tut's from me. My LO has been like that since born too.
I haven't had a normal birth (!) but did have an emergency section. My first AF was a bit heavier than normal - but more in length than volume IYKWIM? It was also more crampy than normal too. But I know i'm very lucky and generally have very light, short and pain free periods (please don't lynch me!). Speak to GP or HV if you are at all worried. Better they tell you theres nothing wrong than you fall ill, though I'm sure everything is fine
susan - Alice is welcome to have Annabel as a little sister
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!
