Aww Tia thats rubbish! hope everything checks out ok when you go in though x

Morning all, think T knows mummy is feeling bleurgh cos she didnt wake me up till 8.20 even though he woke for her usual 6am feed, she nodded off after all snuggled up to me.

aless - how you feeling about going back to work? Full time is a big change.

Forgot to say on saturday that our Tesco had lots of melamine bowls and plates etc reduced to 35p, although we dont give the bowls to T (they just get lobbed!) we keep them in the freezer and find them really good for cooling down food quickly.

Am full of cold atm, really stuffy head and almost constant headache, anyone know whats safe to take while BF, or can point me in the right direction.

Oh no Tia! You know what, though? I wouldn't stress, as Amber was probably far better off home than in a hospital bed...it couldn't have been THAT urgent she be in hospital, otherwise don't you think they would've phoned you ages ago? At home she gets to play with all her toys and be in her own bed, so tons better for a young'un. Hope her bloods go well.

pp, I think I might make carrot cake today now that you mention it. :) Finn lives off the raisin scones pretty much, but maybe I should stop being lazy (PITA to grate the carrots) and inject a little variety in. :p

would like to win a holiday, please!!

That would get on my nerves Krystal

C is asleep on me, but it's cold and I want to go and put the heating on!

Hope all you builders have a lovely time today :)

Going to bake some more of weezls' carrot cake later - it's a hit in our house! Even DS likes it - but has to pick all the raisins out :p

Is anyone free? Nip and make us a cuppa would ya? :D
It is really starting to grate, but I'm kind of stuck until this baby comes along... I would mention it if I saw her in the morning but she just beeps her horn outside and doesn't get out of the car now and by the time I drop her daughter off after school, the moment has passed... Plus I know she'll blame her daughter for not getting ready on time, she has before...

I'd make you a cuppa, but C would probably be awake by the time I get there...

And my poor baby... Usually has a pampers on for bed, but last night they had an early bath and I put her in a washable for an hour because it was too early to put the bed time nappy on... This morning I felt her bum, felt cloth and assumed Hubby had changed her when he got her up... Just went to change her and found the nappy absolutely soaked through, we obviously forgot to change her for bed last night and she's been in a washable nappy since about 6pm...:o

    ETA: Somnium...

Tia, I'm sure Amber was better off at home than stuck in the hospital all weekend, hope the bloods go well :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Oh dear. We were not supposed to go home on Saturday, we were supposed to be sent back to local hospital. 11am for bloods. Better go get tidied up.
 That's quite frightening that they didn't notice you weren't there if you were supposed to be.

As always the answer lies in the useful links on the first page of this thread!

Bah! I'm in a grump and have just got p'ed off at the stupid This Morning baby thing. They visited a first time mum 10days post natal to "see the reality of having a newborn"- the house was immaculate, she was immaculate - oh yes that's totally realistic!
