lol Susan - My house is definitely far worse now that 10days PN ;) I like to blame the boys for that - just because I can :p
I think Alice is responsible for about 10% so I can't blame her.

Our house was pretty good when Alice was ten days old. I couldn't do anything about the state of the house for the previous eight months but once Alice was born and I was able to I did. I wouldn't have let anyone visit if it had been in a state and certainly not a TV crew.

I shall make no comment on the current state of my house though.

yep - my house after 10 days was spotless mum cleaned it for me when she stayed and we'd ony been hom a couple of days! however, after that things went out the window. we're slowly back on track now though. I can't sleep if the house is a mess :o
hi everyone  I haven't really been around the forum for a looooong time, but i'm back. Doubt anyone would remember me, it's probably been nearly a year since I last played in the pregnancy thread, but I have at last got my baby!!! 3 years of trying and 4 miscarriages and she's finally in my arms!!!

So, i'm mummy to Lilli-May who is 4 and Amber who is 11 days old :smileyhea

    congratultions and welcome

We're doing ok thanks, breastfeeding is a bit of a struggle in the evenings, but apart from that she's amazing.

Big sis is brilliant, so confident holding her and she completely adores her. She seems to understand that Amber takes up a lot of time too, which is great although she's always been really independent anyway.

OH starts a new job on Thursday (he was made redundant when I was 32 weeks pg) but it's only a 4 hour shift, so i'm rather nervous but excited about looking after them both on my own :D
  • thanks somnium, i'll link you to the pic I have on FB soon when I get on PC, laptop doesn't want to load FB :D

Let us know if you have any questions! There's quite a few BFing "experts" on here, hehe. I know a big recommendation is to feed lying down if you need a rest but baby still wants boob.

It's always scary those first moments when an OH leaves you all on your own, but I'm sure you will do fine! Can't wait to see photos, we love dinky babies :D.

Alice thinks that we're going to have loads of snow in December because we did last year. We've tried to explain it was an unusual winter but I don't think she really appreciates that. She keeps on asking if it's nearly December yet because she knows that December is Winter.
