Smartie tutut for notbuilding it sooner :p. Af was heavy with all 3 (vaginal, emc section and elective). Only difference was with Amber it was after I stopped bf. With the sections I found it to be a lot more of a tugging pain and flared the scar pain up a bit more that took a few months to stop.

Found out that dh has a hospital insurance policy through his union so we can claim about £300 for Amber being in hospital. Will pay for the boys room carpet and furniture. Got to look at the positives.

Took bloods at hospital then sent back home. They will call later today. Bit miffed that I didn't get to speak to someone but nobody really knew what was going on. I had to tell gem what bloods to take. Hope I got the right ones, liver enzymes and coagulation.

smatie - no tut tut's from me. My LO has been like that since born too.

I haven't had a normal birth (!) but did have an emergency section. My first AF was a bit heavier than normal - but more in length than volume IYKWIM? It was also more crampy than normal too. But I know i'm very lucky and generally have very light, short and pain free periods (please don't lynch me!). Speak to GP or HV if you are at all worried. Better they tell you theres nothing wrong than you fall ill, though I'm sure everything is fine ;)

I put "normal" cos I didn't fancy writing "vaginal delivery";):p:rotfl:I'm sure everyone knows what I mean by normal even though no-one ever has a "normal" birth!!

So sorry for the blabbering - I'm tired!!!:o:rotfl:

I know I should go docs... I'm still waiting to have my postnatal check!!! I haven't had a very good time with NHS this past year so don't want to deal with them unless I really have to:mad:

tia - glad your back home. Sorry hospital were rubbish! It's a running theme on this board!

smartie - I'm never normal at anything which was why I exclamation-marked rather than commenting on what you had written ;)

    Tone-lowering ahead:

"Vaginal delivery" always sounds to me more like what the father has to do to ensure a conception :o

    As you were.

Am currently trying to get her to stay on the fleece Ive laid on the living room floor as she is having nappy free time while watching TV, my baby girl is always so much happier when her bits are free!

Lily becomes wild when her nappy is off, she trys to crawl away and growls :rotfl:

Sami, my house was spotless 10 days post birth, but it was down to DH. He had nothing to do whilst me and Lily slept :o

Now its horrible, Lily is so messy! She has spread all of her toys about, pulled a carrier bag with clothes in onto the floor and is spilling water from her cup on the floor. But she's happy and being quiet, so who am i to ruin her fun? :p

Congrats - that's lovely news xx She looks beautiful in the picture. Pleased everything is going well for you.

I bet Lilli-May is thrilled. Charlotte's friend at nursery has a new baby brother and we all have to admire him everyday :D
Have killer sinus pain, and still snotty and grotty,

Sinus pain is hell. Have you tried inhaling steam or washing them? Both methods really help. Hope you feel better soon xx

On the subject of garages, can anyone remember this Fisher Price one? It think my brother got it in 1979.

    Fisher-PricePlayFamilyActionGarage%23930.jpg

My Mam still has it and it's in excellent condition with all the stickers still on, all the cars and the windy up ramp and everything. My brother and me played with it loads, then my boys had loads of play with it and now Charlotte plays with it. My parents certainly had their money's worth :money:
Here I go again on my own....
