Wow that surely can't be right EA? No idea though!
C is currently upstairs playing with Josh. DSD2 (15) is here, DH is at work. Could I ask a bit of advice? When DSD2 is here she likes to ask Josh to do stuff for her. For example throw a wrapper in the bin or take a used cup into the kitchen. Now I don't like that. He's her brother not her servant. But I feel that if I say anything I'm just being mean and picky. Earlier on the three of them were upstairs whilst I was preparing dinner. They had been up there for approx 5 minutes. Josh asked DSD2 if she could watch Caitlyn while he came down for some blu-tac. Her reply was 'No, you brought her up here, it's your job to look after her'. I know she wouldn't have said that if I been there. Anyway he brought her downstairs on his own (something I would never have let happen had I known they were coming down, I would have fetched her). She also asked him to fetch her her tablets from upstairs earlier, which he did. I have told him before not to do stuff for her if she doesn't return the favour, but I don't want to look like I'm starting a fall-out. DH would agree with me but it's difficult when he's at work. If he's here then he tells her. What woud you do?Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked

PP I'd reinforce to J that he's to say no, and I'd have raged at DSD for engineering a situation where he brought C down by himself. I'd remind him that he doesn't have to do stuff for her and he knows it, so if he does it's his own choice and he doesn't get to complain about it afterwards.
Having said that, she sounds like a 15 year old and will no doubt become a bit more civilised as she gets older.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

hello
have been trying to keep up but feeling a little
not sure why but keeping myself busy has worked a little!
Had the girls riding yesterday and Abi was on the new pony! looks like we will now be getting him the beg or middle of dec which is better for us as they will be able to go up during the holidays and have him to amuse them! The stable girls had plaited his hair which was sooo funny and i wished i had taken the camera! Megan has started to ride alone with no help and even started to trot, do you not hate it when the kids pick things up quicker than you!!!
OH took A,C,L to his friends for fireworks last night, i fell asleep on the seatee with E and M played as she is too big for fireworks (rollseyes) they didnt get back until late but it was lovely to just sleep and watch TV.
I have lots of cleaning and organising to do today as Lewis is away shooting/beating with his grandad tom. I also wanted to get some baking done as it saved me a fortune in playground snacks.
should be back and forward if i can ever get my bum off this seat

Doh my vertbaudet order has done the same thing yours did yesterday Sugar. Done it on OH's new account using his card so he's not going to be happy when I tell him he has to check and see if it went through

Will you keep me posted as to what happens with yours?Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Oh my gosh! According to a BMI chart, Chris is overweight?! I would seriusly hate to see a healthy weight child...0

Chris is in a Britax evolva, it to go up to 11yrs, has a 5 point harness, cup holders and has 2 recline settings. Costs circa £90.MadDogWoman wrote: »SOM - What would you recommend for a car seat for a 4 year old? I'd prefer it to have a back and sides. My car has Isofix.
Thanks
Although the recommendations are that you should replace a carseat after something like 5yrs (Som do you know what it is?) I'm in 2 minds about that 'rule' as if we have a 3rd child it would mean my Tobi should be replaced for them and obv that the evolva won't actually do until Chris is too big to need a seat
I'm not sure how tall your OH is but would it work with her in the back with baby and E in the front? it would mean both front seats were pushed back thoughCar seats - this morning my job is to see if I can fit both car seats into my car and still be in a driving position that doesn't kill me (I usually drive with my seat all the way back and quite reclined, I am tall and it's only a medium size car). If I can't, I go back into car-buying dilemmas again with some urgency...

I'm going to call them in the morning and be outraged.Oh my gosh! According to a BMI chart, Chris is overweight?! I would seriusly hate to see a healthy weight child...
BMI is ridiculous and means nothing. I am consistently outraged that people use it as a means of measuring health - it fails to take body type into account and is utterly pointless.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
