Heya ladies its late and have had a busy few days! The washing machine broke down on Wed so have been over the inlaws doing some bits there. Add to that we are still 2 weeks on waiting for the toilet repaired!
T got bitten by a little girl at Toddler group on Fri
Didnt break the skin but left an awful red mark and obviously really hurt/upset her. I was really annoyed too as I couldnt see the little girls mum to have a word!
Anyhoo, havent read far back but really pleased to hear Amber is home and on the mend x
CAFC - lovely pic
I'm starting to look into Thomas's new carseat and could do with some advice. He's very tall and although his current car seat will do him until 13kg I think his legs will be over the edge and his head will be sticking above it before we get to that point. (I'm assuming this is a problem?!)
I've heard recommendations for the Britax First Class - are these the same but different colours?

I have a 10% off code which would bring them down to about the £90 mark - is that about as good as it gets (Somnium?)
I'm happy to consider anything else if anyone can recommend
There are a few things you need to look at for the next stage car seat, T must be over 20lb/9kg and able to sit up unaided for a minimum of 20min. The first class would be good beacause if he doesn't meet those criteria then he could use the seat rear facing. However you need to get any seat tried in your car first because they aren't universal and it may not be safe. His legs hanging over the end of the seat arent an isssue as he will just bend them so he'll look like a little frog, the head going over the top isn't safe though. However rear facing is the safest so the longer you can leave them that way the better. If you want anymore info (and a bigger discount) PM me
Right off to bed now, will catch up properly tomorrow xBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

SOM - What would you recommend for a car seat for a 4 year old? I'd prefer it to have a back and sides. My car has Isofix.

The perils of having children sharing a room... Aimee had a nosebleed at 5am and Caitlyn woke up at the same time...
Why is it always my lie in that suffers?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Poor Krystal
I spent so much of my life not realising how significant and sensitive an issue sleep could become...!
This morning E came got me at 6.40ish, but then as we walked to the kitchen for breakfast he went into his nursery instead, climbed into bed and said "SLEEPY time". So I tucked him in and went back to bed... 10 mins later he reappeared though.
I was a bit of a zombie, had him watching cbeebies while I tried to wake up - then he climbed into my lap with a book to read, I groaned and he says "Ohhh POOR dadden pat pat gentle poor dadden now READ IT.".0 -
Car seats - this morning my job is to see if I can fit both car seats into my car and still be in a driving position that doesn't kill me (I usually drive with my seat all the way back and quite reclined, I am tall and it's only a medium size car). If I can't, I go back into car-buying dilemmas again with some urgency...0

That is hilarious :rotfl:.
We were up at 6:30 as well, which is just about the very earliest I can cope with! Another hour would have been nice but never mind. I have been woken the past two mornings by H giving me kisses, which is rather sweet (although only possible as he has been in our bed due to firework wakings).
I have errands to run this morning, and am then hopefully baby free this afternoon
. I should spend all the time sorting and cleaning, but I think a nap may be on the cards

When is thos Edinburgh Builder Meet again? 22nd? 23rd? I forget... And where? Have we decided?
23rd, and we didn't decide yet although I think we should. Susan is coming on the train so it needs to be accessible from town, and we're staying near the zoo and I'll be with baby without Husbeast. Unless he decides to come but somehow I think the prospect of loads of ladies and babies will be a bit much for him. He might surprise me though, he does like babies a lot.
Morning lovely mummies and Bruno, sorry your sleeps were all interrupted.
We do own an iron but I iron nothing. We do formal clothing when it needs to be done, but Husband always does it because I can't be trusted not to burn it [STRIKE]on purpose in protest[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]by accident because I'm rubbish at it[/STRIKE] or otherwise do a crap job.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Morning everyone - hugs for those who didn't get much sleep.
Som - poor Tahlie, hope she's ok?
GISI - have a nice baby-free afternoon.
Well, not going to be able to come on so much until dh is at work in the week - tv broke last night, and so it's been replaced with the one we were using as a computer monitor, so now I have to share 'my' laptop
Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Morning all, I have been ignoring the ironing but will have to tackle school uniform later.
Evie was a star last night - fed at 8, went down at 9.30pm slept til 5am (with a few grumblings in between but settled with her dummy), then came in bed with me until 7.30pm when oh fed her.
I am child free today - leaving the terrors at home with oh and I'm off to meadowhall under the pretence of xmas shopping, I think its a much better idea to have a coffee and muffin and relax while watching everyone else xmas shopping.
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
