I think GPs must be very uninformed about lactose intolerance. One of OH's university friends (who's husband is a GP) has a son who threw up every day of his life until they discovered at age three that he was lactose (and soya) intolerant. He'd seen all sorts of specialists and even had investigations at Gt Ormonds.

I think I'm losing my voice. Which leaving aside the inane grinning when I said I felt sick seems to have made OH more sympathetic.

    ((hugs)) Tia & Amber!

Haven't been on much and i dont have time to catch up on so many pages, can anyone summerise for me please? :D

I've been playing Fable 3, i completed it, became Queen and chose to be good which left the city in 6.5million in debt. Then there was a war with the darkness which i won with my magic, but it killed almost everyone.
So now i cant play anymore as there are no villagers, only dead bodies :(

Means i cant get married and make babies! :( :rotfl:

But i do have wings for choosing to be good throughout the game :j

Tia I hope everything is ok with Amber, you must be going out of your mind.

Went to docs this avo... and apparently Theo is lactose intolerant, suprise suprise.. shame I didn't think of that.... (I am being sarcastic!) Gota pick up his new milk tomorrow and if I express I need to avoid dairy. So hope this sorts out his stomach, it seemed to be getting worse yest and today; he has been really irratable, I have just put him in his chair as he kept getting upset everywhere else, including on me :( not having the best day, I felt like phoning OH and begging him to come home as I just couldn't cope, but luckily I didn't.

    Roll on Friday...

Kitkat - you will probably see a huge difference in Theo as soon as his body is free of lactose - it made a huge difference to D's whole personality - especially when I gave up dairy. I really hope you see an immediate improvement (((HUGS)))

OH is hopeful but since he was throwing up on Saturday night and I've had a cough/sorethroat and being feeling generally ill for almost two weeks, I'm not assuming it's anything other than illness until such time as I have conclusive proof to the contrary.

It is worrying isn't it... I am 'slightly' lactose intolerant... basically I know it if I eat something with lactose, but the symptoms are minimal... so I kept telling them this. Well 5 docs appts later, 4 phone calls to HV, 100s of nappies, and washing machine running constantly looks like they have finally listened to me. They didn't seem to believe me that he was constantly filling his nappies.. I was about to bring the bin bag full into the surgery to prove it to them.

thanks Hammy :) I so hope this makes a difference, I want my happy content baby back, really wana take him out more but have avoided going anywhere too public around feed times as you would think I was throwing him around the room by the noise he makes.

Another point... in the waiting room a woman walked in with a 3 year old (at a guess) and a newborn; she took the 3 year old to the loos (quite far away from waiting room) and left the baby... completely unattended.. screaming its head off...

 Evans just cancelled my order. I won't be bothering again since they clearly have just made up a story about it being out of stock since it is IN STOCK ON THEIR WEBSITE. Nastygram sent

Hope T feels much better when all the lactose is out of his system. I feel very sad for all the poorly babies and mummies.
