I suppose I exaggerated a little but I think I am just very very unlucky when it comes to washing machines Hammy. The first one I got when me and OH bought our house 8 years ago was a 5 year old second hand one from an uncle, that lasted us just over 4 years. Then I just fancied a new one so bought a stupidly fandangled all singing and dancing machine for £700 and it broke after 18 months. Then bought another and that lasted 14 months and then Iv has this new one since may-ish so Im safe until May then I'll start worrying again LoL. I wouldnt mind but I wouldnt say I do anything wrong and it gets used once a day sometimes twice.

poor babies/mummies/daddies/pets!
tia - last time we had this situation when we went back to the sick kids they put her on the 'fluid chllenge' 5mls of water every ten mins. When she ws sick again the next day I did the same again. It stops massive dehydration and helps them recover more quickly. However, with you all being so ill, if she were sick again then I'd take her back. Better to look silly than anything happen.
bruno - glad its slowly getting organised. you do know that it means your DW will probably go into labour at that point :rotfl:
I've been feeling very smug about the clock change - LO wsn't effected at all and her sleep trnsition was great. Except that I forgot to change the clock in the car, and have dashed around all afternoon wondering where the time has gone, come home put tea on.....and realised I'm an hour ahead of myself :rotfl: oops!
I'm taking LO on an adventure tomorrow. we're taking the train to glasgow! She's never been on a train before. I'm meeting my sister and taking her for lunch. I think I'm organaised. I've bought plenty snacks and have looked out a couple of things to keep her entertained once she gets bored of being on train. Buggy all orgnised. Lunch is sorted, need to pack change bag. Anyone got any tips? Sounds silly but i find airports and long trips so much easier to plan for - a short trip like this is throwing me off balance. I normally drive everywhere you see

r.mac, just imagine what you'd do with her if you were sitting in a cafe or something for an hour... The train will be the same, only the scenery will change
Snacks and colouring books work for us wherever we go... Even at Aimee's age...
Need to get my rear in gear and make a weezle type pie... After trying to kill us 2 weeks ago with under-done chicken, hubby had his ar5e in his hands this week and baked all the moisture out of it instead... I haven't seen chicken skin that crispy since I left home!!! Anyway, I'd usually do chicken and bacon fried rice with the left over but I fear it's just too dry for that... A pie and some moisture might work...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Hello,
Had absolutely no chance to catch up, so hugs all round.
Just had my meeting at work, as expected didn't listen to a word I was saying, so we have agreed to sort out a compromise deal. HR consultant and Union Rep will be hammering out the finance side of it, they have also agreed to wipe the disciplinary off my record.
So as of 14.55 today I am unemployed.
I'm taking the rest of the week to recover from the stress and commence job hunting next week - registering with agencies for temp work.
Off out to Pizza Hut to mark it - not eaten all day.
