Hmmmph
Thanks all for wishes - spent 20 minutes haranguing Homebase and being escalated twice, couldn't achieve anything better than next Tuesday morning. Yes, the part is in their warehouse. No, they can't find an available slot in a delivery van within the next week. No, I can't come and collect it myself. No, they can't post it. No, I can't arrange a courier collection even if I were to pay for it.
Shall get part then write them a scathing note to purge myself of vitriol. Buncha gimps.

They cover themselves by saying things like "usually" and "reserve the right to alter in exceptional circumstances" etc. Curse them all.0

My ASOS orders came via the postie - he rang the doorbell as 1 was too big to go through letterbox. I didn't get any Cath Kidston crap, so the quality of my stuff is great!

Bah I want my order! I got an email at the end of last week to say it had been dispatched. I ordered some jeans and a top for T and a pair of knickers for myself. I went for medium but I was kidding myself! I must have lost some weight yesterday so I'm going to try and behave myself now.
With all the weekend poorlyness I totally forgot to tell you about my baragin. Remember I wanted one of these? Well I found one in a charity shop for £6.50 :money: I was mega chuffed...even though I had to carry it all the way home coz we had walked! MIL very kindly cleaned it up for me while she was babysitting on Sat and apart from a few pen marks it looks as good as new :cool:Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Ooh, I'm liking that moomin romper... Do you recon it could be unisex? It's just slightly too small for Caitlyn... But the new baby might benefit... And hubby loves Moomins!
I've just had a lovely slice of Stollen... I have to thank the Stollen suppliers... Yummy!!
My friend (the photographer) just popped round... I was incredibly rude and didn't invite her in because Caitlyn had trashed the place before she went for a nap and I'd been too busy spreading Asos packaging about the place to tidy her mess up... She's popping back with some pass me down clothes and cloth nappies though so I'll have the place a bit tidier then I think...
Anyway, she popped round with some photos she's done for my sister, who wants to collect them Wednesday when my friend isn't in... Well who said I'm going to be in?! I'm sure I have a surestart thing booked for that day... And might just sod off for the day just for the sake of it... If she'd have rung and asked me I'd be fine, but just assuming?! Cheeky cow...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
