My mum NEVER bought us outfits for halloween, we had the choice of an old (off white) sheet with eye and mouth holes cut out, or a bin bag with arm and head holes cut out....BUT we went trick or treating EVERY year. Maybe it was her way of getting sweets to put away for us so she wouldn't have to buy any for ages;)

Tia ((hugs)) for you now too, glad you are home though...

Tara - Did you decide to keep your house on the market or stay put in the end?

Dt1 - K is a non-talker too!!! He has excellent comprehension and makes lots of sound effects, but that's it really...apart from that he has 2 words that he will occasionally use, but only really if we aren't trying to encourage him or paying him much attention. Both my older boys were late talkers too, so I am not really worried:)

Not sure at the moment Mel, still on the market but undecided. I'm a great believer in things happening if they are meant to so we're not in any rush IYKWIM. Got a feeling next couple of years will be hard for us, then of course we loose the child benefit the year after. Bit of a sore point at the moment, currently wondering why we bothered working so hard to get where we are when we could have just had an easier life in our cheaper house and his job of 6yrs ago that paid him 20k a year less. We would have been mortgage free by now. Oh dear, that turned into a rant, sorry, bad week!

Re talking, Maddy is currently learing 1-2 new words a day, which amazes me. Now I've had 6 so do compare but she does have an awful lot of teachers here!

Mel, if boys really are slower at everything, you should really notice the difference with T. She'll probably start yapping not long after K, and if she's like L, she'll never stop!

L is driving me insane. She's dressed as a zombie schoolgirl and walking about with a sulky pouty face on because i'm boring! We need to go to the shop, so I might wait til it's dark and walk around then, and let her knock at a couple of the houses that have halloween decorations.

ETA: MFD if you're lurking. Did you have a good night and drink plenty of wine?

Tia - gentle get well hugs for you and Amber x

My baby girl just fell asleep in her highchair, must be comfy! I actually think its a combination of all the crawling and clambering over stuff thats worn her out, and the yucky cold. She sounds like Darth Vader bless her.
