I was trying to get socks too Caz - there's a necklace I like that's £8.50, but with the code it's still £3.50 and I am far too cheap to pay that :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

DH has called - they have made a guy, decorated some biscuits and are now playing at the park
He sounds far more cheerful than he does all week - I wish I could send them off to play group every saturday
i did discover the credit card bill which we are officially no longer useing except for paypal, and to get his quarterly bus pass (plus he is using for expenses if he has to go out on site)... there is £125 extra on there on top of those things - all in either the pub or places he was probably buying his lunch (and the fags which of course he doesn't buy any more because he doesn't smoke. ~cough cough~.). I haven't got the energy to be cross, but i am a little bit disapointed that he is so rubbish
Anyway, in more important news Secret Santa presents for baby are wrapped up, and ready to go. just need to get a mummy present now. and find a big box to send them in

Would anyone like my invitation to the Hotel Chocolat opening party in the Trafford Centre? It's also a 10% off voucher.
For Wednesday daytime/evening.
Edit: 3, do you want my £10 Red Letter Days voucher? You might find something good for your Dad or OH on there?
Is it on email Sugar? I might be able to make it but we're viewing nurseries that day so couldn't say for definite if anyone else knows they will use it.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Thanks you, but my dad is a miserable twonk who's only interests are the pub and cheap wine!
OH still hasn't got round to using his driving experience yet!
Mum has suggested Dad wants some decent pans.
Sister has suggested Mum wants a slow cooker.
Nan is getting a lovely £12 silk scarf from Evans for £3.
Secret Santa his half ordered, just the Mummy (or Daddy!) to worry about now.
I have a new challenge though. My best RL friends eldest. A typical 13 year old stroppy grunting teenage wannabe gangsta! :rotfl: I think giving cash is a cop out, and he'll probably only spend it on cheap cider anyway!:beer:0 -

Good plan. Posting from Germany would would be a bit of a give away (and not very :money:). We should all try and post our packages from somewhere other than where we live to make it harder to guess

3 how much do you want to spend on him? I can think of a few CD suggestions which might appeal if that would help... let me go find the links.
ETA - this is on the assumption that wannabe gangsta means he is into hiphopy stuff. I'm not really into hiphoppy stuff at all, but whatever genres I listen to, I always seem to be into the things no-one has herd of, so hopefuly these won't be things he already has - Saul Williams is great. Clever well educated hiphip
And I recommend Mr B the Gentleman rhymer, so I'm just trying to find out how to do that.

10-15 ish normally. Good idea, I'll go and have a little stalk of him on facebook and see what music (which i've probably never heard of) he's into.
ETA: Who! Tremz?, Biggie Smalls?, Notorious BIG? I have actually heard of the last one, but thought he was dead!
His facebook page is worrying!:beer:0 -
