    Morning all,

Long time no see Elle :) Im hoping to be there on Friday, will be lovely to meet you and Rhys - feel like Iv 'known' so many people on this thread for years yet have only met a handful! Hope your appointment goes ok today (hugs) for Rhys xx

    Im skim reading ....

Caz, I know how your feeling J is only 7 (and a half) must not forget that half, but hes going on 17 and is getting difficult to buy for mainly because he is a spoilt little thing and already has too much of everything. He asked me for a mobile phone but I told him no! He wasnt too impresssed. He is still into wrestling but has most of the figures and already has two rings, Im getting there though!
Id say a hamper with lots of lovely girly bits in, if shes in to that sort of thing, maybe lessons in something, or tickets for a concert failing that money or vouchers xx

Sorry that some of you are having problems with your menfolk. My lovely OH has decided once again to quit smoking and this time he has gone for the champix option .... Im not sure it agreeing with him though, he has been so de-motivated and down since using it. (less than a week) I dont know what to advise him ..... I have to say though im not feeling very supportive, in the last 12 months he has tried to quit about 5 or 6 times and the mood swings and tantrums are just about wearing me down :(

Thanks for that freebie Aless, I love L'occitane :D just very rarely buy it xx

Sparkle, please keep a close eye on your OH while he's on Champix, it works really well but can have some nasty side effects.

I was wondering that too :)

My sister's OH is back from Afghan today for 10 days R&R, he hasn't seen his DS for 3 months and last month he sent my sister a bouquet of roses with a note on the card to open a parcel he'd hidden before he left which was an engagement ring :T I'm betting there are lot's of tears and cuddles in her house tonight. She's only 20 and I don't think I could cope with my OH in the army and a newborn.

    Thats so cute!

Is Tia about? I have a picture she might like. This little boy has to wear a helmet for plagiocephaly and so his parents incorporated it into his Halloween costume.

Hi Sparkle MIL quit with Champix while I was pregnant with V. It did affect her moods for a while, but it worked!

I hope to see you on Friday - I can't remember the last time I saw L, but i'm sure they were still babies.

Caz L had a bike for her 10th (because her old one was really small!), but I also did a hamper of girly tat! Earings, watch, smellies, gloves, tights, hair stuff, books, chocolate, pens. Mostly from Poundland/H&B type shops.

She got cash of most of the family, and she got Claires vouchers from my sister along with a promise of a shopping trip to spend them. She thought this was a great present and they went shopping earlier this week.

I've got that strange sense of panic this morning that I haven't anywhere near got Christmas organised.
I have some bits for the children but have no idea what L wants for a main present - she has everything. :o
Mum, Dad, Nan and OH are all I really need to get now, but they're all of the awkward b00gers!
I'm hoping to sort out my secret santa today. :D

Chris had a camofalge print one, so we dressed him up as an army guy. Don't think I have pics though, he ended up ill in hospital with a chest infection...

Thanks Sugar, do you have any idea how long I should let him carry on taking it whilst hes feeling like this.
I wish I had gone to the docs with him now. He is very prone to getting easily stressed and lets things get on top of him which lead to him becoming a bit 'down'.
The doctor didnt ask him about his mental state but then he had no reason to, the only time he has been at the docs with anything relating to it is when his dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was given weeks, my OH couldnt take it in and was signed off work for a few weeks with stress.
But Im worried and unsure if I should encourage him to carry on taking it, he has been on it since Tuesday. We had a talk last night and I said perhaps we should carry on for the weekend, we have some nice things planned so he should be 'up' and if he is still feeling the same Monday go back to the docs and explain how he is feeling and take it from there.

I guess I sounded a little impatient with him in my earlier post, I didnt mean for it to sound harsh, but sometimes relationships are hard and with doing this every other month it has just started getting to me.
