Do npot let him drink with it!

My Mum drank while taking Zyban, ended up trying to crawl under a coffee table because elephants were after her? Spent a night in hospital strapped to a bed! Then was sick, sick, sick for 3 or 4 days afterwards.
  • Morning all. DH has taken Izzy to the dads morning at the local sure start centre, so I'm trying to do my bingo posts and tidy up while they are out. I'm not going to allow him to think I've put my feet up the whole time though, so i'm doing obvious tidying - I'm having sort out of Izzy's toys, bagging some she has grown out of so they can go down to the garage and moving lots back into her room, so that we only have the toybox full in here. At the moment we have an overflowing toybox PLUS a fropper, shopping trolley, box of farm stuff and big box of train set bits. Plus assorted other bits scattered around the place. They will all come back in here to play with, but we need to be a bit better at tidying things back into her room at the end of the day :)

I'm also drinking hot hot chocolate, have some christmas presents to wrap (I'm not doing them all, but the ones for DH need doing when he isn't here ;) ) Then I shall relax with my knitting :)

Hmm, sounds like Champix is not something to suggest to OH then. He's given up giving up, which is totally infuriating. He is banished to the yard, but I really would prefer him to stop.

Ladybird, what are you knitting? I can crochet a bit, but get tangled up with knitting.

  • Bexta I'm knitting a scarf for Izzy - it is really messy, but she won't care. I can only do really simple knitting - I can do a row of knitting, and a row of pearling, but trying to do knit one pearl one, or picking up extra stitches, or decreasing the number of stiches or whatever is beyond me. I have wool and patterns to do a few things that are a bit more complicated, but then I decided to be lazy and make Izzy a scarf instead ;)

Would anyone like my invitation to the Hotel Chocolat opening party in the Trafford Centre? It's also a 10% off voucher.

    For Wednesday daytime/evening.

Edit: 3, do you want my £10 Red Letter Days voucher? You might find something good for your Dad or OH on there?

  • I now have a massive pile of things to put away in the middle of the floor in Izzys room, a small pile of things on the floor in here to put in a bag and take down to the garage (or at least leave by the front door for a few months till we get round to that bit ;) ) and a neat and tidy toy box. The rest of the room is still a mess, but you can't have everything. Best crack on though!
