Oo, quiet this morning. You all sleeping in after staying up for the toy sale? ;)

Got some cooking bits to do, especially since I still have eight million apples that MIL gave me. Finn was fussy for the CM yesterday (first time ever!) and given that he was the same at crèche on Sunday, I think something's up. Probably teeth, as they get blamed for everything ;). He did sleep until 6am this morning - a small victory after a long string of 5am wake-ups! Hey, you gotta take what you can get.
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

That made me smile. I never thought 7am would seem like a lie in, but hey it's better than 6am (or 5am)!

I feel rotten- really hot, sick and headachey. Not good when I supposed to go to work.

    Morning all *yawn*

terrible night here, poor Miss M and her nasty cough combined with cranky husband and his on-off insomnia. Finally managed to get her to sleep on my shoulder and had a snooze myself but she sweated through my pajamas.

There's a Grabbit thread about an Amazon half price toy sale if anyone wants to see if the stuff that wasn't in the Sainsbury's sale is in that one. Also I have two dispatch emails from ASOS :j

Hope all the sickly people feel better, and continuing vibes to baby Lily.

I'm glad the toy sale is crap, i've bought enough! Sorry for those that wanted stuff though

Surreal experience this morning watching Jack Black on Yo Gabba Gabba, !!!!!!?!

My HM order has been despatched apparantly, not sure how much i've actually been charged though! Might take a trip to the bank to check later. I hope it was only 10p like it said in Verified By Visa, what a bargain that would be! :rotfl:

  • I've just phoned in sick for work, which I never usually do. I just feel like rubbish and have diawoowoo too which means I shouldn't be at work working with food. Just got to see whether MIL still wants to come and look after H or not.

:( GISI, hope you feel better and have a good lazy day at home.

SS - you too!! Can I be nosey and ask how long you plan on co-sleeping with Miss Molly? Because it seems like it's starting to cause all of you problems. :o

Morning all havent been on for a few days but been busy. MIL and FIL returned from their hols in the Dominican Republic so we went to see them and T got spoilt rotten! She got the obligatory holiday T shirt, 2 toys from the airport and $50 of their left over money (about £30), very generous but crazy with Xmas so close. Anyhoo have decided to use the £30 to buy the baby sledge have been lusting after as its bonus money, strangley enough it came into stockthe same day so I took it as a sign ...any excuse hehe.

Had my first KIT day at work yesterday, which although I had gotten teary about in the days running up to it turned out to be a breeze come the time, so a massive reflief. T has a yucky rattling cough so was a little worried about leaving her for 5 hours, but MIL said she was fine, no tears or whinging. Gave her a big cuddle before I left and MIL and her waved me off at the door with big smiles. Work went nice and fast and new boss gave me all the shift I had wanted saying they suited great, so another relief. Will be doing some more KIT days in Nov on wednesdays then have Dec off and start work properly in Jan.

Thinking about calling doc to make an appointment for Ts cough it sounds like its coming from her chest, am not concerned as she is happy, but dont want it turning worse so better safe than sorry.

Havent read back many pages but did see that get well vibes are required for little baby Lily x

Boo for poor Sainsburys toy sale but yeay for ASOS bargains :D

Oh and I see SS's Molly had taken steps when I last read so big congrats for them :D

Hugs and get well vibes to all the poorly mummies and/or babies too xXx

    Working on baby no2 :D
  • I'm so glad your KIT day went well, Som. I think the anticipation of it is infinitely worse than actually going in. I bet it flew by, didn't it?

Thanks Aless, very lazy day here. If I didn't have a baby I probably would have gone in but broken nights+sicky bug=miserable mummy who needs to lie on the sofa and spend the day online!l,|:<L

She stays in her crib till she wakes at around 5am, when she comes into bed with us. Last night she was very farty and very uncomfortable and restless, and her tummy was making all sorts of bubbling sounds so there was a lot of pacing up and down with her trying to work the bubbles out :(

But now we're not proper co-sleepers, worry not :) She normally sleeps from 9-5/6 and then again till 8, her cold has made it a bit more difficult the last week though.
