Morning Ladies and Bruno - hope everyone is well.
Becles Have fun today. Lindisfarne is on the list of places I want to visit - it always looks beautiful in pictures/on tv.
Becky What a rude family !! I personally found dresses to be a pita before V was walking. The just ended up riding up round her belly, or she tangled herself up in them when she was crawling.
Well done Miss Molly for finding her little legs. :T
Em I hope your mood improves.
Gisi I'm glad your evening was successful.
Buttons I'm not sure if the 'taking your parents to court' is a Scottish thing. I know the child support laws for Scotland are slightly different than England and at some point a child can take their parent(s) to court to claim maintenance.
Gill I love the christening pics on fb, you all look lovely. But I was unable to 'like' as it wasn't your photo iykwim!
SJ ((Hugs)) for you and your Mum. It can't be easy.
Can anyone suggest a perfume?
My little sister (22) has requested perfume for Christmas, but she fancies trying something new. She's not bothered about it being an expensive name. She likes floral, but not overpowering.
Her last favorite was a Paul Smith one in a flowery box but I can't seem to find it on the Boots website.
Any suggestions?:beer:0 -
I like Boss Orange, that's kind of florally and kind of cirtusy... And I think most of the Lacoste ones are florally...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh THE JOY!
Well he's my first and last baby so suck it....

One of Idris' friends is saying that parents have to support their child until the age of 23 if they go to uni, weather they stay at home or not.
True or false? IT MUST BE FALSE!
In scotland it used to be that way (and i think it still is) until you hit your 26th birthday. The uni assesses you on your parents income, unless you can show you hve been independent from them for 3 years or more. That doesn't mean living away at term time and coming home for the holidays. It means being properly independant. Though the three yer rule is where most fall foul.beckyandjack wrote: »have had a rubbish day, people (in-laws) have been making comments recently and not sure what to do with them. Have had comments on what I dress dd in and that its not girly enough but dresses just do my head in and end up round her neck looking like some olden days ruffle, its not like she just lies there and doesn't move!! then i had a comment that she was so windy and uncomfortable cos shes ff now and i should've made more of an effort, really didn't feel like telling them it was that or i was going to throw her against the wall or something, just left it and now really wish i'd said something....
love to all xx
Firstly, I know its hard to ignore them - but remember, their complaints say more about them than you. Good inlaws would be supportive of you at all times. I find that when something shows itself as contentious, I invent a HV or a GP that's given me the most up to date advice
And that tends to help. So I might say I agree with them, but feel it's best to follow what the HV ha advices first, an if that doesn't work then I'll rethink things for example. I'm not advocating lying as such - just sidestepping the issue!!!:rotfl:
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

3, what about Marc Jacobs Daisy?
I'm in my office raging - my minion, whose contract extends two months after mine, has put a bunch of computer equipment on my desk. It is beside the point that I never use it *fumes*
Edit: one of Husband's friends has just tagged a photo of him from the early 1980s on Facebook. My mood has improved like you wouldn't believe! BAHAHAAAHAAAHAAAAAHAAAA.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
