    GISI,

This is my mom's tried and true recipe, but it is in American measurements:

2 cups of cooked or canned pumpkin
    1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
    1/4 c musco (brown) sugar
    1/2 c white sugar
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp ground ginger
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    1/8 tsp cloves
    2 slightly beaten eggs.

Place oven rack in lowest part of oven and preheat to 425F. Line a 9" pie plate/dish with suitable crust. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until well blended. Pour into pie shell. Bake 15 min at 425F, then reduce heat to 350F and bake about 45 min longer or until an inserted knife comes out clean. Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.

I'm not actually around - have popped to McD's for a coffee and a quickie use of the wifi. Internet box still hasn't come, grrrr. GISI, you're just lucky I happened to have that recipe saved in my email box from a couple Thanksgivings ago!! ;)

And I may just have to participate in that fabulous ASOS code now...!
