    What aged coins do you collect Susan?
    I do have the odd 19th century coins but they're mainly 20th/21st century. I started out trying to save a 5p coin from every year when I was nine and they were changing them and then the 10p's and gradually expanded so I now try to save one of each coin for every year.

    <rant>
    They've spoiled it by changing the coins though - the only ones which even go back to decimalisation are coppers and the rest don't go back before I was born even. My mum was able to get coins more than a hundred years old when she was a child because they were just in her change.
    </rant>

    My mum gave me her foreign coin collection so my foreign coins are mainly very recent or pre-60's.

    I'm not very good at short answers am I.

    Silly Buttons, imagine not trying to just stop spewing... Idris sounds like a prime catch and I have no idea why you are not snapping him up.

    On a serius note, I didn't know you still had food problems. Please get better soon coz we love you. :D

    I need to now get the shopping in and clean/tidy up since Miss Ambert and I went back to bed this morning rather than me cleaning. Snooze was awesome though!

    Do you collect notes at all Susan? I could probably get you loads of weird notes from all over the place, Idris' dad travels with work and I once went in his room and saw this HUGE pile of notes, I was like OMG! Then I looked and it's all yen, polska monies, russian, malay etc etc everything, though he did let us take the Us dolla dolla's and we exchanged them to buy Keira's moses basket :rotfl:
    I collect quite a few things but notes isn't one of them. Thanks though.

    Well he probably does have some shrapnel of foreign money lying around too? Shall I ask him for any random coins he has lying around or do you only collect ones before the 60s?

    I wish Europe hadn't changed to the Euro, I always thought the pesata's were really cool currency, I thought I was the bee's knees with my 25cent pesata round my neck on a cord.

    Really is no wonder I was bullied :rotfl:

    Thanks Tia :) I'm getting there, one jaunty step at a time :p
