  • Thanks Sami. CAFC did you call the docs? Would it help if one of us called up for you?

CAFC make yourself a tiny goal each day it can be as simple as getting up and dressed before 10, then build it up slowly over the week. Housework and things can wait, feeding yourself and L is the most important thing and obviously dont forget Gordon lol!

Emlou you didnt hang about PMSL!!!

Sami leave them in their PJs unless your going out lol!

My lot could do with gloves and hats etc they all have wellies and jackets so we are nearly set for the winter! i am very tempted to buy a small freezer and stock up after all the snow last year!

  • Oops... I just realised I can no longer keep my drinks on top of the storage heater now it is switched on. I have warm water now.
Izzy has managed to smash two pyrex dishes this morning - another stop for me this afternoon then - better see what they have in poundland but I shouldn't imagine I can get away with pyrex dishes for a pound, even small ones. She is lucky I love her ;) I kept moving her away from the cupboard, but she wouldn't leave it alone!

I love that about you Krystal. You are always there with a sound piece of advice about taking time to give our babies a cuddle because they are only little for such a short time.

When Benjamin was teeny I knew you were telling the truth, but I couldn't see it. Now Benjamin is a strapping lad of 19 months I know where you are coming from and I try to bear it in mind.

I don't want to be that mummy who can't take time for cuddles with her son.

As it is, when I get a big cuddle I say 'Mummy loves cuddles, cuddles make mummy...'
    and Benjamin shouts
    'HAPPY!!!!'

    Quick question.

DS1 is doing a shoe box for a boy 8-12yrs. Essential items include a hat, scarf and gloves. Is asda or primark cheaper? Looking for good thick ones to go to Eastern Europe and Asia.

ETA, I feel like a tight wad asking whats cheapest...
I often get them from the pound shop, they're decent quality and you can put a couple of different pairs in (and socks!) They sometimes do little toothbrush/paste packs too...
Oops... I just realised I can no longer keep my drinks on top of the storage heater now it is switched on. I have warm water now.
The radiator is behind my sofa, I often just stick my glass on there and end up with a warm drink...

((hugs)) GISI we're all here for you xx
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

She's put me down because I'm a stay at home mom, she keeps pushing that I should go and leave Elliot at the creche and get a life. It started off because i said i was feeling a bit fed up, next thing she's telling me i'm depressed and my husband is horrible basically. I hate it when people think they can tell me what to do, but don't like it when you say something to them. How is that fair? :( Thanks for making me cry. What a great friend you are.

I'd tell her to get stuffed. You don't need friends like that. Don't believe what she tells you. As long as you are happy, that's all that matters.

I've got to see my brother and SIL on Sunday, so I'm busy growing a thick skin as no doubt I'll be put down loads and told I'm a crap parent *rollseyes* Unfortunately it's a bit difficult to tell family to get stuffed :o

Whenever we make allowance for Alice being ill for more than a day she tries to take advantage when she's better. Although when she was younger it was more habit or getting used to it rather than deliberatly milking the situation like she does now.

That's just like Charlotte. Sneaky monkeys!
I'm trying an experiment. I have put Izzys hair in bunches - lets see if they are still in when we get home.

Hope they stay in. Charlotte loves bunches, but she has really shiny hair and the bobbles just slide out. She usually has a pony tail and calls it a "one buncher" :rotfl:

It's nice and sunny here! Looking forward to taking the dogs out in it when I've finished reading on here.

Got all my work done and for those who read my FB update, I did manage to get the stand in the car! It was all in a huge cardboard envelope box that was too wide to go in the car. Ended up building the stand at home instead and managed to get it in the car with the back seats down.
Here I go again on my own....
  • Mel :T Very impressed with you cake. I am glad your LO enjoyed his birthday

CAFC ((HUGS)). Have you decided to see your GP?

GISi, I can only imagine the sheer turmoil you must be in (and have been in for a while now :(). I can only advise perhaps writing things down so that when you come to discuss things with DH then having it written down may help you to keep rational and to the point. I offer you massive hugs ((HUGS)) and I hope you are wrong :(

Keely - You friend doesn't sound like the kind of friend you need, to be honest. I suspect she is jealous of you & your family :o. Don't waste your tears on her.
