oh that might be an idea, do i just lie him on his back while he is lay on towels? May have to cover him a little as he has been known to squirt as far as the ceiling  he loves being naked so it may cheer him up!
:rotfl: at the ceiling. You'll need something waterproof (e.g. a change mat) under the towel so that it doesn't go through to the carpet.

I recommend Morhulin Ointment for nappy rash
and I think MFD recomends http://kamillosan.co.uk/ Did I imagine that she used the nipple cream one on B's bum or did that happen?

KK ((hugs)) sounds similar to T at the mo as he has bad diarrhea and nappy rash, may try the benarpthen cream - had a small tube but nearly gone now. To compound things he was sounding bad last night (weezy/crackling on his chest) so we took him to the emergency doctors at 11pm last night, then got refered to the childrens a and e dept - he has Bronchitis which is quite common in babies apparently. After a few checks on his oxygen saturation we didn't get home until about 2:30, then had to settle him down with a feed until 3, was up again at 05:30, back to bed at 6:15 but unsettled till a feed at 7, then didn't wake up till 10 - must have been exhausted. kk some advice which may help you is to do feeds little and often as easier for them not to have a lot in their tummies when struggling to breathe! Are you bfing or formula, as bfing should keep him nice and hydrated.

Aww *hugs* SirM sounds like you and T are having a rough time, hope he is better soon. I found Karvol drops in hot water by a radiator really helps T (as recommended on here :)) thanks for the tip on feeds, T is being formula fed, I am giving him bits of expressed milk but as I feel so run down I am not producing much :( feel such a let down to him

KK, is he old enough for ashton and parson teething powders? They work wonders for bums and tums and won't do any harm.

Nappy free time on some towels, bum cream and it will get better soon.

Thank-you all for your advice and well wishes everyone :) I dont know what I would do without you wonderful people :D

Which do you think is better Bepanthen or Metamium... I've usually used Sudocrem but nursery asked for Bepanthen the other day as she thought the Sudo was 'stinging' William... bought a tube in Asda and thought I should get some for home now..

I sent OH out with a note saying Bepanthen or Metamium after both were recommended on here, and he came back with Bepanthen. I thought it was really good. When V has had a really sore bottom, with scabby bits, it's cleared it up overnight.

Come on Mel, i'm very impatient you know! :p

OH has peed me off today. His only day off this week, and he's boogered off out running his friend around garages/home instead of coming shopping with me for both our Mums birthday presents/cards. If he's not back soon i'm going on my own and will not be getting his Mums cards/presents.

My mums only needs picking up from Boots. Has anyone done a Boots delivery to store before? The order confirmation email says i'll be emailed when it's ready to collect, supposedly today, but i've not had anything yet.

ETA: Kitkat All of our little chemists do A&P's powders, and i'm almost certain i've got them in Boots and Asda before too.

I stock up on A&P whenever we're in the UK - Tesco Pharmacy has it behind the counter so you have to ask for it.

A&P powders can be found in boots and some supermarkets usually in the "Children's Medicines" aisle
    http://www.boots.com/en/Ashton-Parsons-Infant-Teething-Powders-20-pack_1674/
I think they contain lactose tho so bear that in mind if he is suspected if being intolerant

I think nelsons teetha granules are the same thing in case you find those instead. ETA - unless its just the common / latin names they're different http://www.boots.com/en/Nelsons-Teetha-24-sachets_2211/
