Redstar - hope it goes ok with the survey. Moving house is sooooo stressful!

T has been having a nap in his carseat...I'm showered, dressed, make up on, hair done...and I'm not going anywhere! He NEVER does this on days when I need to leave the house lol.

Thanks for the ear reassurances - I was worried he may be in pain but sounds like it's totally normal and very cute :)

Yay for tooth number 5 GISI. We're still gummy here too which I can't believe coz he's been teething since 12 weeks with some really bad days! My sister got her first tooth at 4 months and I had mine at 5 and we just assumed he was going to be like us...obviously not!!

Have fun at your Southern Meet :)

  • Thanks Gill, on the ear thing - I wouldn't worry that he's in pain. Amelie had an ear infection at about 6 months old and there was no missing it, she screamed almost continually with it. If Thomas is in pain, he'll let you know :)
Hope the Builders convention goes well today :)
Ooops, must go back to my report - this is distracting, come on Mel!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • SS yes you did - they were yummy. The garlic butter didn't soak in very well to start with, but we left them sitting in it for a few mins and that did the trick :)

We got a mi of the garlic and rosemary focaccia, but the only one of them we've done so far we used as a pizza base, rather than making properly, so will have to let you know on that too when we try it properly. It was nice as a pizza base though :)

This is DS2's birthday cake for tomorrow.......he decided on a halloween themed birthday!! I'm quite pleased with the outcome of my first ever birthday cake:)

MSE because it saved me buying a horrible 'carboardy' cake from Asda that gets wasted, because no-one likes them!!!!

P.S, no need for comments btw...I am running off now, I won't sulk I promise;)
Do you want to make Alice's cake next year? This was my attempt at Winnie the Pooh:

Aside from the shoddy icing job, you can see where it fell apart coming out of the mould and I tried to put it back together.

Thanks Ladybird I just went back and saw it. And saw that I'd seen it, thanked it and forgotten it :o

I'll get some for our next Box O' Stuff shipped over then.

Actually, Yorkshire people, Approved Food now have reduced local shipping. SJ it covers your area too and they've loads of food colourings/cakey bits at the moment, although I think you bought all their royal icing :rotfl:
