This is DS2's birthday cake for tomorrow.......he decided on a halloween themed birthday!! I'm quite pleased with the outcome of my first ever birthday cake:)
MSE because it saved me buying a horrible 'carboardy' cake from Asda that gets wasted, because no-one likes them!!!!
That's really good
I read in another thread that they spray the ready made birthday cakes with some sort of chemical lacquer to keep the icing fresh for weeks in the box. So you've saved everyone from eating chemicals tooHere I go again on my own....0 -
Ooh well done on the job Aless!!!
Buttons you make me laugh soooooooo much!
Bruno how is your FIL-less house?!
Tia :rotfl: at fo-shizzle :rotfl:
Aless (again) What are you doing while DH ogles planes in Manchester?! I hear there are PT-ers around there who might be at the Trafford Centre / soft play / somewhere nearbyP.S. What day is it?!
Boo How lovely to "see" you and :T for Wee James. Can't believe you managed not to cry, I think I might have! How many teeth does Isla have now?
Gill My Molton Brown stuff arrived here today too. Very pleased. DH almost had a stroke when I told him how much the shower gel should have been :rotfl: Just trying to decide whether to put it in the present box, or keep it for myself as I wouldn't ever buy anything that un- :money: for myself
r.mac Animal :rotfl:
SugarI read Mauly to be said like Wall-e :rotfl:
Lots of :rotfl: today
Redstar Lovely pics!
Sir Monster Can't remember when we started our bedtime routine but think it must have been about 8-10 weeks and it just worked for us as Alfie was sleeping from bedtime anyway so no problem to put him upstairs. We had him in his own room from about 2 weeks too as it meant a much better night sleep for him and me. I'd get up and feed him in his room. (Couldn't bear sitting in bed feeding him while DH was snoring away - he did my head in!)0 -
Thanks Krystal i think i will. I want a chair shaped one too, but knowing my luck it'll pop open and the kids plus Dino will be eating it :eek:Proud mum to now-grown-up daughter (Pebbles) and two lovely grandchildren (Roxy & Chip).

Jillie Well done Kian :T Yey!!
I'm not sure how TC changes will affect us. Hope it's not too badly, I've been basing calculations for me doing just the cakes on what i make from them plus the TC's we get now so really hope it won't change too much. I couldn't bear going back to my old job permanently
Xmaslolly, 3 I want a Primarni babygrow too.
Sugar  at snow! Buttons did you get snow this morning too? DH has some mates near you and they were posting on FB about snow.
Becles how is boot camp going? Is it harder now it's freezing cold and dark?!
I've been to see my grandad again today. He seems in good spirits but I'm not really sure what they are going to do. He's had lots of tests and the Dr is speaking to him tomorrow to decide on a course of action but I hope it's while someone else is there with him to ask any questions as he doesn't always understand the whole picture.0 -
Gill - is the redness all the time or just for a bit after applying the DB? Its normal to get red around the time of applying.
Anyone know if a GP would prescribe athletes foot treatment for a 3yo with out seeing them?
It's all the time, DH had put it on this morning when he got up and then when I took him swimming and took his vest off I realised his tummy was all red and blotchy where before it had just been patches on skin coloured dry skin.
Michelle may be right with the gluten thing, I just checked and the heinz one does contain it, and that;s what he had for breakfast this morning.
Som - I ended up steaming (in the microwave!") them coz when I looked up a recipe for roasting parsnips it said to do them for 45 minutes and I'd left it too late. Would you mind sharing your timings with me? He had a good go but he gags on every mouthful. I have to practically restrain DH to stop him interfering.
SJ - you should keep it for yourself, you deserve a treatMy Auntie has the hand wash (£15!!!!!!!!!) in the bathroom at the caravan and it's gorgous. I'm a but gutted the sample is in the gift box coz I wanted to keep it
Glad to hear your Grandad is in good spirits, that's half the battle I think.
Got some good news today, it sounds like my Grandma is doing better and will hopefully be well enough for the Christening on Sunday
Are the primarni babygros (adult sized!) one colour or patterned? Do we know if they still have them in stock?Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Can't see how good the grip is tho.
If anyone was interested Costco have a mid-calf brown version of my boots (look similar tho those ^) they are water proof etc, ment to be worn in proper winter conditions.0 -
