My boy woke up crying so we ended up bringing him downstairs (totally unheard of!). Bad Mummy had wine so couldn't feed him so we gave him a pot of fruit as well. He was a bit confused but ate it happily once he realised what was going on! He was lovely and cool (I hadn't realised how hot he's been!) so that's got to be a good sign. I'm hoping he just woke hungry after having no tea. He's settled back down now so off to bed for me. I'm not a millionnaire but I did get 2 numbers and one star which is £7.40 so I'm happy :)

    Merry Christmas everyone!

Hopefully he'll have turned the corner now :)

Got the presents under the tree, there's loads, and just going to wash and sterlise the bottles and put the little pressies on the older one's beds (new dressing owns, slippers and a book, maybe not very exciting lol but I'm sure they will be happy!

Hi all, thanks for the well wishes. Finn's still just as ill, so we waited for one of his awake patches and then he observed us opening his birthday presents and playing with them in front of him (which he did seem to appreciate). We'll do Christmas presents during his next awake patch, I think.

I tried to get up at around 9, but felt like dying, so went back to bed and got up again at noon once I felt vaguely human again.

We're supposed to be going to the ILs for Boxing Day, but that's looking highly unlikely. :( I actually wouldn't mind if it was closer, as Finn does seem to perk up when he's distracted from his misery (DH said when he took him to the Dr's office he was positively cheerful!), but I just think that the 2 hr journey is asking too much of a still-sick little baby. We haven't made any decisions yet either way, I'll see what he's like in the morning.
