congratulations what doing? just in time for christmas too.
  • Admin for a construction materials company, it's temp for 3 months which is better than JSA for the next 3 months, success on interview #4.

There was a mess up by the recruitment agency, they sent me but the paperwork for someone with a very similar name, thank heavens I take my CV to all my interviews :) so I thought I didn't stand a chance.

well done and temp sometimes ends up permenant so fingers crossed or maybe something will turn up in that time xx
  • I don't mind temping for a while I've had a bit of a nightmare with my previous employers so permanent feels a bit stifling at the moment, I like the temporaryness means if I don't like it I have an end date.

I will also continue job hunting, I'm going to enjoy going to the Jobcentre tomorrow to hand my slip in saying I'm starting work.

Congrats MDW - I suspect having your CV with you ha gone massively in your favour as it totally backs up how organised and well prepared you are :)

    Good luck for tomorrow EA.

My little man seems a lot better but I still don't feel I can risk a glass of wine tonight incase he repeats the last 2 nights waking for feeds :( Got a few jobs to finish then gonna relax with DH and watch a bluray :)

  • Just popping on to wish everyone a very merry xmas . Doubt I'll have time to pop on tomorrow - been a very busy few days rushing around getting the last few bits done, which has resulted in a very stressed mummy so its now chill out time with my beautiful family :D.

DS has tonsilitis and dd2 is 3 months old today - where does the time go :(.

OH has gone out for "a couple" at 4pm - if he returns drunk and being sick he will be sleeping outside .

    Congrats on the job MDW.

    Hope Susan is ok.

Swaddling - E hated it, we bought one of those swaddle wraps but she always managed to escape.
  • Katie loved being swaddled, we had to stop it though as it was a really hot time of year, we were struggling to control the temperature in our room so I was scared of overheating her despite her just being in a nappy inside the blanket.

Merry Christmas Eve mummies, daddies, littlies and lurkers!

Just sent Husband out for the last of the grocery shopping while I amuse the small girl, who promptly pushed me away so she could make mayhem without me seeing. And this afternoon will be all about the chores but then Miss M will go to bed and I will wrap her presents!!!
