    Morning all.

Mto - if you won't be happy or comfortable in a skirt then the smart trousers suggestion is a good one. Whack some lovely jewellery on and you'll look gorgeous :)

    My outfit is dull today:

Black tights, black suede pumps and grey cableknit jumper - DP
Grey, black and white floral jersey skirt - Tesco sale

Haha, don't panic, not for any dodgy reason - i'm thinking halloween! ;)

Having never used false eyelashes, how does one remove them? Is there a glue remover you can also purchase? Think I need to go to boots today! :)

My mum used to be a casualty simulation make up person for the Red Cross and I am sure she took spirit gum off with surgical spirit but I don't fancy that near anyone’s eyes, she always moisturised the skin afterwards as well.

    Today

    Burgundy cap toe oxford shoes
    Black socks
    Faded royal blue Bedford cords
    Blue striped button down shirt
    Navy and Brown herringbone jacket
    Red floral tie
    ike-behar-bluefly-ties-red-floral-embroidered-silk-tie.jpg
    White ear tunnel
    Steel bracelet watch rose face

Got my grey raincoat and black fedora on standby as it look like more rain on the way :(

    Morning.
I'm doing a little bit of Christmas shopping today (can't wait to run around Toys R Us)

    My outfit today: (quite boring)

Long grey embellished Tshirt - Jane Norman
    Black leggings - H&M
    Boots - New Look

Having a very bad skin week :(, so I will be visiting the make up counters to see if I can get a sample of Estee Lauders Double Wear foundation.

Anyone on here using Rimmel's lash accelerator? I managed to win one but I'm finding that its irratating my eyes. Anyone else find this?

  • ooo a lovely shiny new thread!!

Been awol, but have been keeping up with blogland!! I won't bore you all with the details but i have been really sick, and found out the reason i can't shift weight, so been feeling bleurgh for far too long and had far too many yoga pants days!!

Line drawn, feeling a tad better, so last night i actioned a tidy out of wardrobe and today i got dressed properly.

Wearing leggings from primark, stripey tunic from dp, a gorgeous velour shoulder padded jacket from primark duo boots and scarf.

weather's not too bad, off out for a root around charity shops.

oh (hugs) to you sharron, hope things are looking up now.. :(

douglas, i'll bear that in mind - it's technically face not eyes, but i'm not sure where to get spirit gum from anyway, so thinking i'll have to find some eyelash glue / remover from boots or somewhere (hoping thts not a giant task!)

    Afternoon!

Nice to see you again, Sharron!

PirateFairy - False eyelashes are just pulled off at the end of the night, no specialist remover necessary.

I've been car booting and am working on a patchwork bolster cover at the moment. It's driving me insane.

    Today's outfit:
    High waisted acid-wash skiiny jeans
    Vintage 1960's navy blouse
    Stripy thigh high socks
    1960's brown leather knee boots
    Mustard cable knit beanie hat
    Silver jewellery

Ho hum, back to the grindstone, I will start these things.

You get it from a fancy dress or a joke shop here.
