Oh lost, that's no good! Are there many other places you can try?
Char, should you be giving blood if you're feeling terrible?
Outfit is:
Blue, yellow and green sprig print floral skirt - handmade
Navy top with lace shoulder inserts - H&M sale
Blue ladder knit jumper - Tesco sale
Navy footless tights - DP sale
Odd socks (obviously)
Clumpy boots - Chiara0 -
Morning All!
Dunno where the time goes but it seems like an age since I last posted.
Lost, sorry to hear about the lack of shopping opportunities. Don't forget the National assocation of Charity Shops tool for tracking down likely shops:

On the cat peeing problem, Feliway is the best ever, a herbal pheramone which deters obsessive behaviour and is fab for calming down cats on bonfire night.
Today's outfit:
Vintage Caroline Charles puppytooth check suit (Age Concern £4)
Turquoise 60 denier opaques (Market stall 99p)
Black heeled brogues (BHF £1.95)
Loads of silver and turquoise rings, turquoise chandelier earrings and bangles (India)
Back to the eBaying now, off to Goa on 3rd December, money needed! x0 -
I will give a +1 for Feliway, GF* used to work for Cats Protection League and they used it. We used it for our cat who was a bit nervous before taking over the entire house.
Grey suit today again, lilac button down collar shirt, red knitted waistcoat, same tie as yesterday, black loafers - I feel boring today.

One of our cats used to be quite bad with spraying even though he has been done, we've had pissy clothes now and then!! He's calmed down now Thank God! Another one occasionaly like to poo on the kitchen floor!
Outfit my nightie and primark cardigan!! Need to get dressed but then it'll just be stuff to do cleaning in!Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Not sure about blood, will probably do it, as I don't want to wimp out when i don't have a real reason not to, just tiredness, and should be fine with an early night afterwards..bit frustrated as none of my friends can go with me, so i'll have to walk (don't like driving home when i feel woozy after)..0

Good on you. Hope it goes OK.

*panics* I'm shortly going to become a 'stepmum' to three cats, I've never done high maintenance pets, it's kind of scaring me at the moment. I'm sure I'll cope. everyone else seems to, but it seems to be taking up a lot of brain power at the moment.
Anyhoo:
Cream tunic dress (Howies)
Black thermal (yes thermal, I'm going to Norfolk today - its cold up north) Leggings (M&S)
Black slouchy socks (River Island)
Tan Doc Marten boots (Ebay)
Customised Denim Jacket (I've painted the back) (Primarni)
Cream furry gillet thing (Ebay)
Hair down, turquoise glasses
California map pendant (etsy)
Have a lovely day x:beer:0 -
Rainy wednesday, cats are very rewarding, and usually pretty lo maintenance pets...three as a group will already look to each other for love and support. I literally have nightmares about what I'll do when my cats get older and die, I also have had dreams I've given birth to them: ok its obviously an infertile woman's baby transference but I really love them. Every night we snuggle down in bed together, they do the gardening with me, one of them comes over do the yard and does chickens and horses with me...I can't imagine how I coped in the years between leaving home and getting these cats....cats make a home.
OK, I have feliways on, I can't say they aren't working because I don't know how bad it would be without them! She seemed to get comfort from a catnip parcel, but then pooped all over it, so I have to get another for her. Bombay duck (the feral) is really doing quite well for a girl who has been in a house not as long as two weeks. She's trying to get the litter tray idea (it doesn't help she's also chosen to sleep in a hooded litter tray) and she is curious about my cats and they are tolerating her. I know she'll never be a snuggle down in bed with me cat, but we'd like to try and keep her an alive -and will come in for food, warmth and medication cat.
goan, thank you for that link, I will check it out now!0 -
