Tesco Clubcard Deals-Voucher Value Change

I said it when Tesco changed the rules for R&R and I'll say it again;
It's the people who incessantly go out of their way to abuse companies' goodwill gestures and abuse offers to an abnormal degree that ruin it for the rest of us.
Eg. buying dozens of printer inks to accrue abnormal amounts of points and reselling said inks. You can be sure this was never in their planning when Tesco came up with a "genuine" offer to customers who buy printer inks.
Am sure this abuse has again contributed, in part, to this change.0 -

Looks like they are tightening up on this as of November their is a max number of points you can earn and if you have more than one clubcard in your name they will merge into one.0 -
Does anyone know when this quarter ends? When should we receive our vouchers by?
Thanks in advance0 -
Points collection ends the 23rd October so vouchers anytime up to 4-5 weeks after that.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

I've got around £200 (£800 reward) in Clubcard points which I'll now be redeeming before December 6th. Best Western Hotels look to be the best value and have fewer restrictions than some other hotel groups - has anyone used Reward Tokens with them? The Clubcard site also says ' Did you know? - Hotel tokens can be used for any hotel company in rewards, or for any rewards that aren’t “buy in full”. ' Does this mean they can be used in restaurants and for days out etc.? If £800 in Reward Tokens were ordered does anyone have any idea as to what denominations they might come in, so that they could be used for various things.
Thanks, Bill.0 -
lets not go down the people abusing route.
I have not bought shower gel, cotton buds, shampoo and other beauty products for years because i stocked up when they did the bonus points i still have boxes full of the stuff in my store room.

My god remember the above glitch, sanex and tresemme on bogof and using H&B vouchers made them free and you got money off your shopping too.
Don't know how much clubcard costs MR T but he makes £106 in profit every second. before the new changes.
Rewards are hit and miss, always have and always will be, i use to get RAC cover for £56 in tesco vouchers its only £115 online direct from RAC before cashback.
I got AA cover which after cashback cost £20 then use £37.50 in deals for airmiles for a return trip from london city airport to amsterdam with VLM, saving £18.50 in vouchers plus £192 airfare.
Use CC vouchers for virgin holidays at full price or get a deal paying in cash everyone has their own view.
If i can get 1000 points using a code i find online to do a grocery shop for £50 then save £150 using the points for airmiles then i will do it and i will not feel guilty.
But hey dont forget that there are people who shop at tesco's every week and dont collect clubcards points.0 -
We will all look to take advatage of any offer, but there are always some who will abuse it and that spoils it for everyone.
Going back to my point about certain people saying get over the new changes, Tesco introduced double points over a year ago, now if they made these changes at that time, yes i expect the same response would have happened but it does seem a bit cheeky to say a year later, 'well you have had it good for a year, we are making big changes now'.
Not very good timing and not great PR.
Just my opinion on it.0 -
Awe gutted!! I usually change my vouchers to Pizza Express vouchers!! Wont get as many pizzas anymore!!0
