Energy Saving lightbulb offers

Cromer only have screw fit bulbs also and aren't expecting any others - perhaps the offer is ending?
I rarely go to the Cromer store. We have one of our holiday cottages near there so only really go in if there's something urgent I need before holiday makers arrive.0 -

Supposed to last for 6 years so it says on the box.
Don't know if this offer ended last year but it's back on again same deal, 60w/100w screw cap or bayonet. Bopught some today from Mozza's!0 -
Asda are now selling them at 47p each loads on Tuesday.0

Philips 8, 11 and 18 watt bayonet cap and 8, 11 and 18 screw cap bulbs all 47p each and in stock at every John Lewis in the country except Reading, and all Waitrose Food & Home branches except Salisbury. How do I know? I'm the unfortunate person trying to make sure we maintain adequate stocks!0

11 Watt energy saver bulbs at 47p (from memory - might be a penny or two out) at Tescos in Redruth and Pool, so suspect elsewhere too.0

I'm looking for energy-saving bulbs with a small screw cap fitting, at a good price; do any of the offers mentioned above have this option?0

Get yourself down to ASDA they have various types of Phillips energy saving light bulbs reduced to 47 pence (saving £1.50)0

Cheapest place I've seen for SES energy saving bulbs is Ikea at about £5 for a pack of two. You're unlikely to find them at 47p because you can generally only get them as the compact type ie. look like regular light bulbs including golf balls and candles. The ones that are often discounted are the economy type which tend to be big and ugly.0

Thanks for the heads up on this - Morrisons in Aldridge had a fair few of all types left an hour ago (after I procured 30-odd for our various lamps and light-fittings), although as with all things at Morrisons, the presentation is a bit like a dodgy jumble sale so you have to "rummage".
I heard an interview yesterday that quoted us (ie the UK) as being able to save "A nuclear power plant and a half" worth of energy if every home was fitted with energy-saving lightbulbs in every room, and read elsewhere that the average saving made per bulb is approx 7 quid per year - can't be a bad thing...0 -
Having missed out on these the last two times that Morrisons had these, I struck lucky today at Southwood (Farnborough). They had an almost full cardboard stand of both Bayonet and Eddison Screw versions of 100W and 60W equivalents.
I got enough to last me for a while, but there were still loads left.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.
