The tone of ridicule she employed when discussing the wig issue. And how that first comment seemed to give the go ahead to others to question the OP.

I am sorry if you genuinely can't see it, but I genuinely can, and feel that it is a valid point for discussion.

i disagree but we'll have to agree to disagree....

if you have a problem with the bg surely then it should be reported and not discussed across the board?

Then we will have to agree to differ, but regardless it is still a valid point for discussion, and not the witch hunt some would have it described as.

ETA if the BG is posting as an individual then surely her comments, like those of others, are subject to the same scrutiny? and worthy of discussion? they may not be worthy of report (as they could be if she was in an offical capacity) but like any other poster it is quite correct they be commmented on.

It cannot work both ways, either she is posting as a BG or as an individual.....

Not a position of authority, but surely one where they should lead by example?

I did not read the OP as provocative, but I did read the responses as insensitive given the subject matter.

I dont frequent the OS boards so rarely come across any of the posters involved here, so am not part of any witch hunt or crusade, merely commenting as I see it. I assume that is allowed?

I always find Penny helpful and forthright. I also believe she's entitled to voice her opinions on MSE and I've never seen her be downright rude to anyone (and you know what people can be like on DT Poet ) so as far as I am concerned she leads by example. Clearly you read the situation different so we'll have to agree to disagree otherwise we'll be going round in circles all night.

As for the last comment :naughty: Like I said to MrsE no need for sarcasm.

ok.....i've just read this from start to finish and have one question....

mrsE whats your problem with penny? :undecided since when has a bg not allowed an opinion. if penny isnt allowed to express her thoughts then i suggest you keep yours to yourself as well. at least she doesnt appear to be alone in hers......

    That didn't make it right:(
    That made it worse:(
  • be happy the way your are there is nothing wrong with be careful with money in fact it is to be admired considering the world we live in and the temptation which is all around us. I would give yourself a pat on the back and as far as the debts well it's just a number i mean who doesn't have debts,it is nothing to really worry about because even the worst amount of debt can be sorted all you need is time and some determination.

or made it seem like that maybe that is how the OP came across?

ETA all that is coming across is that yourself and poet have issues with penny... they may not be the case but its not penny that is looking bad....
